Ashley’s POV

     I woke up around 12. I like to sleep in when I can. I made my way to the kitchen and poured myself some coffee. Kyla was on her mat meditating.

    "Back to your spiritual side again Ky?" I asked watching her.

    "Yup." She said simply with her eyes still closed and legs crossed. I walked around in front of her and gave her a crazy look. I got up a little closer and waved my hand in her face to see if she could tell I was there. Nothing. I started making faces at her. Still nothing. Then I started dancing around.

     "Are you done looking like a freak?" She asked peeking through one eye. We both laughed and she got up.

     "So what time did you take Spencer home? I didn’t know you left till you got back." She asked while getting a cup of coffee.

     "Umm, about nine." I told her.

     "Oh." She took a sip from her cup.

     "Yeah, I called her last night and she like yelled at me, well not really at me, but she snapped at me, I think something happend when she got home." I told my sister.

     "Hmm, thats weird. What do you think happed?" She asked leaning agaisnt the counter.

     "I don’t know, I’m going to call her when she gets out of school and find out whats wrong." I said.

     "Good idea."

     "Yeah, so tomorrow dads birthday, you wanna just go up to the roof and talk to him for a bit and put flowers for him?" I asked.

     "Yeah, that’s fine with me." She said.

     "Okay cool, well im going to go to the store, wanna come?"

     "Nah, i’m good, i’ll just stay here." Kyla said as we both put our coffee down.

     "Alright then." I said as I walked back to my room to get dressed.

Spencer’s POV 

     Today sucks. I’m so stressed out with school right now. And I couldn’t even sleep last night, I was up all night crying. Uhg! I can’t wait to go home. I feel bad about snapping at Ashley. It’s not her fault. I’m just really upset at my mom. Why would she abandon us like this. Its pretty shity if you ask me. Well it’s lunch time now, and i’m sitting by myself. I’ve never felt so alone. I sat alone for a while till Chelsea found me.
