“Jersey, huh? Why?” Danielle asks shaking her head in disbelief. I had liked her already, but that cemented it.
“Right! That’s what I said!”
“They get like snow and cold weather and let’s face it; it’s New Jersey.” Danielle adds while cringing.
“I grew up in Ohio, so I know what its like to have the temperature drop below 80 degrees.” I can’t tell if Spencer is okay with the direction of this conversation. She seems to be going along, but I would rather her leave not mad at me. I interject in her defense.
“It’s also a great school and a great opportunity for her.” I put my hand on her far shoulder blade as a silent indication that I am on her side. Spencer turns to me and I can see the thanks in her eyes. Danielle watches our interactions for a moment before changing the subject.
“Anyway, how long are you staying Spencer, because maybe we could all go check out the campus?” She looks to her watch, mentally calculating the hours.
“I have about an hour and a half. I have a lot of stuff to do before I leave.” I didn’t realize she would be leaving so soon and I think my face showed it. “What? You knew I was not going to stay that long.”
“I know, but I guess I just lost track of time.”
“Do you guys want some time alone?” I think she is confused by our mannerisms. I am not about to answer, without knowing Spencer’s stance. She can always tell when I am leaving the decision up to her, so she replies without missing a beat.
“No, its okay. I think it might be fun to go check out the campus.”
“Great! I am really not in the mood to unpack right now anyway. Let’s go.” We walk around aimlessly, trying to figure out where our classes will be, as well as finding necessities like the Student Center and the Bookstore. Although their first conversation might have been icy, Spence and Danielle are actually getting along well. I had fallen in love with this campus the first time I stepped foot on it and that holds true now. Its mere size is breathtaking. I check my watch hoping that time has stopped, but it hasn’t. Spencer catches sight of me looking at my wrist.

*cries*…im actually tearing up…ok you are the ONLY writer who has made me cry…wtf…omg im in a stuper….lol, if they seperate then i shall honestly die…come up with something dramatic…you know like ash rushing to the air port and begging her to stay or offering to go with her…SOMETHING!!!! please i beg of thee….dont do this to me..NOT AGAIN! lol…i cant i simply cannot take the heart ache, but as ususal..AWSOME chapter, i loved…loved, loved, loved…oh and loved it…lol…post again soon, im always waiting for it!;-P
well… that IS a depressing chapter. But I gotta say, i love it!! i love it cause I know you’ll come around and make it work between those 2!!! post sooon
why couldnt they go to the same school?! this is depressing. pms
i really don’t like this new girl… don’t like her at all.. she has to go and interrupt when everything was going so FINE! and now Spencer is gone, no make her fail princeton so whe can go to Ashley’s I don’t know I want them togehter… NOW, please???

As a university employee who runs a Student Centre, I LOVED that chapter.. even if the one I’m in is not the same thing you’re referring to. Ah, what to say? I just really love your writing style. I’m always so engaged by your writing! AWESOME!
