    Haunted – revamped

The sun shined bright as she stepped out into the street. The wind was blowing hard, which made the dirt on the ground to blow around her. She wasn’t sure if her dress was already pale yellow or the dust from the dirt just made it so. She could feel that she was on a mission to where nothing would get in her way. The people that walked past her nodded towards her in simple hello’s but she did not respond. When she finally made it to the saloon, she walked straight to the back. There was a man there that smiled as she stopped at his table. As he greeted her with words, she pulled out a gun and shot him dead.

Bella couldn’t get back to sleep so she went downstairs to where her father was getting ready to leave for work. It was 7 in the morning and the sun was just barely up.

    “You’re up early.” Charlie said.

“I went to bed early.” Bella said.

“Yeah I know. I got home after eleven o’clock last night and you were sound asleep. Seemed like you were having a big dream though.” Charlie said as he put his work boots on.

Bella didn’t want to go into detail so she just told him a summary of it. “It was kind of strange, a western.”

“A western? Guess I had the TV up to loud the night before. I was watching Wyatt Earp.” Charlie said.

“Maybe that’s it.” Bella agreed. Deep down though, she felt that there was a bigger reason for having the dream.

Charlie put on his gun belt and said goodbye to Bella. Bella couldn’t help but notice the gun. “You’re back to wearing your gun?”

“There’s been some kind of serial killer in Seattle. Just thought I’d put it on.” Charlie said.

As Charlie left Bella felt the strange chill again but this time fell to the floor. The bowl that she was going to pour cereal in broke into pieces. Bella felt as if she could not breathe and tried to get up. Unable to do so, Bella could only crawl. Bella had only managed to crawl a few inches when Edward came running into the kitchen.

    “Let her go!” Edward shouted.
