Bella's POV

My urges had subdued, and it made it so much more easy for me to be around humans. Of course I still smelled their blood and it could be somewhat tempting at times, but I knew how to fight it. Renesmee had once again grown, but now she just looked like an angelic 4 year old, even thought she was only a few months old. My mother had started questioning when we would visit, since I was starting to feel so much better, but I always changed the topic, I know it wouldn't be too bad to visit her since I could control temptation, but Renesmee, how would we explain showing up with our darling daughter? It was wrong of me that I had yet to tell my mother, and I know it would upset her beyond words to know Charlie has known for quite a while.

That's when Edward came up with an idea, Carlisle had assured us that Renesmee was not due for another growth spurt for a few months. Edward told me to just invite my mother and stepfather up here to visit us, and we could just tell them what we told my father at first, that Renesmee was Edward's brothers daughter. I did not want to do that, I did not think she would believe it, but if it came down to it we would have to just go through the same thing with her as we did Charlie. Edward ran the idea by the rest of the Cullen and they absolutely loved it. Esme, offered for Renee and Phil to stay with them in the house and that Emmett and Rosalie could go on a small vacation, since they were in fact 'attending' school.

Today, today was the day they were arriving to visit, Alice and I took Renesmee food shopping in order to fill up both the Cullen's fridge as well as mine and Edward's so my mother would not think anything of it. It did help that Renesmee had in fact started craving some human food, so we let her pick out what she wanted. Edward and Jasper went to pick up Renee and Phil from the airport, while Carlisle and Esme got the house all ready. Jacob had gotten extremely upset that he could not come with us, but we said it be better if he drops in later, just in case they got back before we did and my mother questioned his presence as well as the new little one she had yet to meet.
