Maybe one day I'll wake up and it won't hurt so much. – (Chapter: Don't feed me violins, just run with me through all the speeding cars.)
My name is Spencer Carlin. I guess if there was one word to describe me, it would be clumsy. Since I was old enough to walk, I always fell into things. I fell into the coffee table, or I fell into the dinner chair. I fell into something different all the time. When I hit my teen years, I stopped falling into physical things that would bruise me and started falling into things that hurt another part of me: my reputation. I fell into the wrong crowd, or I fell into the wrong place at the wrong time. No matter what I tried to do, I was always falling. Immediately after meeting Ashley Davies, I discovered a new way to fall. I fell in love.
We never discussed how we felt about each other. Actually I take that back. She never discussed how she felt about me. I tried to always tell her how I felt, but I guess she never felt the same. From age sixteen to where I am now, nineteen years young, Ashley and I have been best friends. We live in the same apartment building, right next to each other, so that we’re always just a few steps away, but we still have time to ourselves. Besides, she always has Aiden and I don’t care to be in the same room as them when they’re doing their thing.
Today was like any other day, or so that’s how it started. I woke up to my alarm clock aggravating me to pieces. I lay in bed for half an hour before actually moving from beneath my sheets. I stood up and threw my hands above my head, and bent my back as to stretch as I did every morning. I straightened my boxer shorts so they weren’t bunching around me. I grabbed a towel and headed to the bathroom. I did my morning routine in showering, doing my hair and make up, and then pouring a bowl of cereal. I turned on the television while I ate and watched the morning news. I heard about some horrible fire in southern California. I felt bad for all the people loosing their homes, but at the same time, I was thankful that I had moved to Georgia.

I like it. I really like it. Your off to a great start with this story. PMS
What was the point in Spencer lying? Ashley is screwing Aiden, Spencer shouldn’t feel uncomfortable talking about her life just because she’s scared to tell Ashley how she feels about her. Goodness grief. People make life so complicated when it doesn’t have to be. Great start! PMS!
