“I’ll get that.” The brother says standing up. He opens to door to find a small brunette standing there. Her cheeks were smudged with black mascara in a trail, which tears had flowed through.

“Hi Glen.” Ashley says crossing her arms. “Is Spencer here?” She attempts a step in, but the boy stands still.

“Ashley, I don’t-“

“Glen. I love her. Please, if she will only listen to what I have to say.” He looks down and painfully shakes his head.

“Give her some time, Ashley.” He closes his eyes and shakes his head again. “Go home.” Ashley’s eyes, however, were not on him anymore. They were focused past him, at Spencer, who was slowly approaching the two of them.

“It’s okay Glen.” He stepped aside to let the brunette walk in the house, following the blonde into the living room, where Spencer turned around and crossed her arms. “What do you want from me, Ashley?”

“I want you.” The brunette says attempting to get closer, but Spencer simply shook her head.

“You had me.”

“Spencer, I never meant to hurt you.”

“That’s the second time you tell me that, Ashley.” The blonde takes a deep breath. “The worst thing is that it was for the same reason.”

“I’m not talking to him anymore.”

“It doesn’t matter anymore.”

Ashley approaches the blonde and puts her hands on the girl’s hips. “I love you.” She whispers, causing the girl to close her eyes, as tears are about to come out. Spencer opens her mouth and is about to say something when the sound of the front door being opened makes her open her eyes.

“Hey, we’re home!” She hears her dad yell.

“And we have a surprise for yo-” Paula stops on her feet at the entrance of the living room, looking at the two girls. “Ashley?” She said, Arthur walks right behind her, looks at the brunette and looks back, apparently worried.

“I…” A thump of a door being closed makes the blonde lifts a brow, until someone else walks in the room. “Alex?” Spencer said as a mid-height pitch-black haired girl walked in the living room. She had short messy hair and a piercing on her eyebrow. Arthur pulls Paula to the kitchen, realizing how awkward the situation was about to become. After putting her backpack and a plastic bag down, Alex walks closer to the blonde.
