    Drama drama drama

    As Ashley sat in the courtroom she felt the guilt rising in her chest. She knew that she should be there for Amanda, but she couldn’t bring herself to do it. She was no longer listening to what was going on in the courtroom. Her thoughts ventured elsewhere. Soon she realized that it wasn’t the tabloids, 5 o’clock news, or the press she was worried about. She just wasn’t comfortable speaking about the worst thing that had ever happened in her life to a bunch of people she didn’t know. She couldn’t stand to relive the pain.

    She drew a sharp, quivering intake of breath. Spencer must have heard the uncertainty in the breath because her hand cascaded onto Ashley’s in reassurance. The brunette looked up at the blonde who mouthed the words “It’s going to be okay.” The words kept silent and Ashley nodded her head vigorously.

    The Judge leaned over the wooden wall, lending his ear to a juror. After half a minute of whispering, the judge sat back down into his chair and placed his glasses back onto his provided desk. “By the power of the state of California, this court finds you-”

    Judge Jackson was interrupted by the loud shout from the crowd. “Wait!” Ashley called out as she rose from her seat. Her hand was still in the grasp of Spencer’s.

    “Miss, I hope you have good reason to be interrupting my court.” He spat back a bit angrily.

    All eyes were on Ashley. She peered around at everyone who was expecting the reason why she jumped in at the last minute. She stepped out of the seating area and past the wooden gate. She stood next to Amanda and gave her one last look in the eye. “This girl has been through the worst time that you could imagine. I know that she has, because I’ve been through it too. With him.” Ashley pointed to Chris who had gone pale at some point. “I have two children to prove it. Twins named Avery and Amanda. I have been trying to get away with not speaking up because I was afraid of press release and news coverage.” Ashley lied.

    The courtroom began to irrupt into noise as everyone began to speak at once. The man hit a piece of wood with a wooden hammer. The fierce sound of wood on wood, hollow and loud, echoed in the courtroom silenced everyone. “Order in the court!” he shouted. He turned his attention to Ashley who was getting more and more angry by the second. “Miss, I can see you’re upset but the evidence-”

    3. I thought Paula was coming around, too. I feel so bad for Spencer and Ash that my feelings were hurt, too. I can’t believe Paula would say that after everything Ashley has been through. If i were Ash, I’d feel like shit and wonder if Spencer would be better off without two babies who were concieved from rape. Poor babies. All of them;(

    4. I AM SSOOO GLAD THAT CHRIS IS GOING TO JAIL!!! YEAH!!!! The bad thing is that Paula was just putting on a show for Ashley and Spencer. I can’t believe that she doesn’t not accept her daughter, AAHHHH!!!!!! I thought she changed, but I guess I was wrong. GREAT CHAPTER UPDATE and can’t wait to read the next one. PMS!!!!

    5. October 12, 2006.. today marks the day that my heart turned to stone..black as night..grew 3 sizes to small..!!!! Here I thought I had to worry about ngasi_lei srewing me over with the whole trust thing!! I will now become a cold hearted bitch..never ever ever will I trust again!! I trusted you Paula!! What in the flying fuck gives you the right to do that!! Do you like playing with peoples heads?? Well fuck you!! now I get to go imagine some horrible death for me to propose to the writer..thanks alot sherlock!!! Okay anyways..totally was NOT expecting that to happen and that makes me Love you even more!!! I luv ya like a fluffy kid loves ronald mcdonalds hair!! I love it please PMS, =)
