Next Time Around – (Chapter: Help me ashley!!)

It’s been a month and the court case was scheduled for 10 A.M, which was only about an hour and a half away. The clock had just struck 8:30 and Ashley was a bit slow getting ready. She had three different outfits in her hand as she held them up to her body, reviewing herself in the full length mirror in their bedroom.

She finally slipped something on and turned to Spencer who was ready to go and patiently sitting on the bed. “Is this okay?” Ashley asked looking for honest approval.

Spencer stood and walked her way to Ashley curling her brows a bit. “Maybe if you were going to a funeral.” Spencer added in slyly. She shuffled around the pile of clothing inches away from Ashley. She came out of the pool of clothes carrying three hangers, a different article hanging from each. “This would look good on you, and it’s legally appropriate.” Spencer said as she handed the clothes to Ashley.

The brunette reviewed her new outfit. How had she missed it? It was a lovely black skirt with flower embroidering with the occasional, yet hard to notice, skull. She never wore it before because it was too long. It came only 3 inches above her knew and she hated it for going places, but it was perfect for court. The shirt was a pinkish color matching a lot of the flowers on the dress. It was low-cut but not showing anything too inappropriate. And a small jacket that looked very edgy, yet professional. Ashley took another thirty minutes searching for shoes and a purse to match perfectly.

After escaping the closet, Ashley twirled showing off her looks. Spencer was in awe over the new found side of Ashley Davies. “Wow. You look amazing.” Spencer spoke as she walked over to Ashley, still eyeing her a bit.

Ashley placed a kiss on the left cheek of Spencer’s face and pulled away quickly with a smile. “Well, I’m glad my fiancé has good taste.” It had been a while since she heard the word, ‘fiancé’, but it felt nice and reassuring to Spencer.

After a few more minutes at home, Ashley drove the kids to a day care center for the afternoon. She hated leaving them with someone she didn’t know, but these people were professional.

    1. excellent post. ashley’s torment here is so real, slightly painful for me. but so real….even if she’s saying the tabloids are the reason. and would those other two just go ahead and get it over with and break up?

    2. Hurrah for the update. I thought you might have fallen off the edge of the earth but here you are :) Now post some more. (I’m mentally willing strength to Ashley)
