“I’m so glad you’re here,” Spencer said.
“I’m glad I’m here too.”
* * * * *
Spencer woke up in bed with Lindsay, completely unsure of how or when she got there. Last night was a blur of excitement and emotion and all she wanted to do was forget about it. But Lindsay had other plans.
“Good morning,” she said, quietly.
“Good morning.”
“How’d you sleep?”
“Um, fine I guess.”
“Spence, there’s something we need to talk about,” Lindsay said, her face expressionless.
“Ok…what is it?”
“So next semester…am I moving out or are you?”
“What?”
“Obviously this isn’t going to work out. We’ve been together for three years now. And I thought that maybe one day I’d be able to get over the fact that you and Ashley are always going to act like you’re the only two people in the world…”
“You’ve got to be kidding. We’re just…”
“No, let me finish,” Lindsay interrupted, silencing Spencer with her coldness, “I was wrong. You two are going to play this game forever, I guess. Back and forth, we’re best friends, no, we’re lovers, now we’re friends or whatever. There’s someone out there who can put up with it but it’s not me…not anymore. My advice, Spencer, would be that you two need to just stop the bullshit at least once and get back together. And no matter who comes along or what happens, just finish it out so that you’re not always wondering ‘what if?’”
“Lindsay, for the love of God, Ashley and I are just friends. That’s it, nothing more. Yes, we’re very close but that doesn’t mean that we’re in love with each other. She’s in love with Erin and I…” Spencer tried to stop the tears before they fell, “I’m in love with you. I’ve been in love with you for three years and it hasn’t changed. And I know that you’re in love with me, so if we could just…”
“No, I’m not.”
“You’re not what? Lindsay, what are you talking about?”
“I’m not in love with you, Spencer,” Lindsay replied, “And we’re done.”
Lindsay grabbed her purse and walked to the closed bedroom door, “I’ll be back to get my stuff sometime next week. Good luck, Spence.”
Spencer let the tears fall freely now, angry at herself for being so emotional in front of a person who obviously didn’t care.

OH MY GOD!!!! I can’t believe that Lindsey finally broke up with Spencer. Oh man, I can’t wait to see what you are going to write next because now Ashley is in love with Erin and not Spencer, or manybe she is in love with Spencer, hmmmm……….
FINALY NO MORE LINDSEY. NOW ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS GET RID OF ERIN. LOL GREAT CHAPTER KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK.

It’s about happiness for Spencer and Ashley, and clearly they make eachother happy, but whether that’s enough is another thing that I’m sure we’ll find out soon. Great writing as usual!
LINDSAY!! WHAT A BITCH!! Omg, she doesn’t know how good she had it with Spence…but oh well, a part of me is thrilled that they’re over and Spencer can finally focus all her attention on Ashley…::wiggles eyebrows::…hehe.
