Ashley had been staring at her ceiling for the last hour, attempting to figure out why she couldn’t reveal her feelings to Spencer, when she heard a quiet knock on her door.
Expecting Spencer she jumped up, running to open the door, “Spencer!”
But it wasn’t Spencer. Instead Ashley was face to face with her past. Her past came in the form of Erin Bell, a tall redhead that was very familiar with the confines of Ashley’s room-especially her bed.
“Spencer?” Erin asked with a smile that still held its power over Ashley.
“Wow, Erin…wow, come in,” she said, stepping over to allow the redhead entrance.
“Thanks.”
There was an awkward moment of silence between the two girls, both remembering the nights spent in this very room. They would come in from a party, drunk and deliriously happy and get lost in Ashley’s sheets until morning. Those nights came to an end when Erin’s mother sent her to a boarding school 500 miles away, leaving a devastated Ashley alone and hurt.
“So, how are you?” Ashley asked suddenly, unable to handle the tension any longer.
“I’m good, I’m really good. You know, school is a drag but the girls are hot,” Erin said with a laugh as she took a seat on Ashley’s bed.
“The story of my life,” Ashley replied with a smile.
“Yeah, about that,” Erin began as she fondled a string of her hair, transfixing Ashley, “who is this Spencer?”
“Oh, Spencer is…Spencer is my girlfriend. I mean, we just started dating, friends first and then more…something new for me.”
“Hey, good for you!” Erin replied, but her tone gave away her disappointment.
“Yeah…it’s….it’s nice.”
“Well, I’m glad you’re happy.”
Ashley’s cell phone began ringing in a tone that indicated it was Spencer.
“Your Body Is a Wonderland? Ashley, you’re kidding…..right?” Erin asked with a dramatic look of horror as Ashley ran to retrieve the call.
“Hello?” Ashley said into her phone as she made a face at Erin.
“Hey, it’s me,” Spencer replied.
“Yeah, I…I know…what’s going on?”
“I just wanted to apologize for running out like that today. I shouldn’t have made you feel like…I know that I…I don’t know, I guess what I’m trying to say is that I don’t want to pressure you into something you’re not ready for. I know what that’s like.”

Ashley god damnit are you kidding me here? What are you doing?! Don’t keep fucking up. argh. omg. this is not going to go down well. more like it as a very good potential to plummet to the ground and create a huge crater that is Spencer’s heart. Why can’t people learn from their mistakes. If kissing the girl caused something that bad. Why do something even worst? *sighs* I can’t even blame any on Spencer’s reaction. Her reaction was justified to Ashley’s action. While she was talking to Ashley,I was hoping she would leave the kissing part out of it…but..no…. post more soon.
