Ashley weaved her car in and out of the heavy traffic, in a mad dash to get to the church where she and Spencer were tying the knot the very next day. She was thirty minutes late for the rehearsal and she knew that each additional minute only lengthened the lecture she was going to get from Spencer. Her fiancée had been a nervous wreck all week. It seemed as though the closer they got to their wedding day, the more irrational Spencer became. Ashley for one thought the tension was from their new lack of a sex life, but was fully aware that other than the blonde’s self-imposed virginity, Spencer was one of those little girls who grew up thinking her wedding day would be the greatest event of her life. Ashley on the other hand had a mother who taught her that if the first one didn’t go according to plan, not to worry because there would be more—many, many more.
Ashley tried Spencer’s cell again, but knew it was no use. There’s no way she would hear it over the chaos of the rehearsal.
“Let me over, let me over, let me the fuck over!” Ashley chanted to the idiot who was driving beside her, happily munching on a fast-food burger of some variety, “Yeah, I’m probably going to kill you. You’re going to be on the news, sir. Do you know that?”
Maybe she was losing it too. Perhaps Spencer had worn off on her as they lay together that morning in bed…
“Have you written your vows?” Spencer asked, sipping the cup of coffee that Ashley had brought her.
“Of course, you know me. I’m not one to procrastinate.”
Spencer paused a moment, “You haven’t even started, have you?”
“No, actually I haven’t.”
“Ashley!” Spencer yelled, hitting her with a pillow.
“Hey! Come on! It’s going to get done, Spence. How hard could it be to get up there in front of a million people and explain why I want to spend the rest of my life with you?”
“Harder than it looks, I’m sure.”
“Have you written yours?”
“Yeah, they’ve been done since last week.”
“Since last week? Jeez…”
“That’s right, and before you say anything it…no, you cannot look at them. It’s a surprise.”

i have to agree this wss an amusing chapter. i also love the hiding place (Cant say the V word it sounds so wrong like in school when you did sex ed *Shudders*) And also the 21 hours i wonder if she will countdown the kiss for the you may now kiss the bride thingy. can u imagine it lol

I, for one, absolutely love the fluff because fluff doesn’t make me age 5 years, worrying about whether or not you will break Spashley up. You have been known to do that in the past. I can’t wait to find out what’s gonna happen at the wedding. All I have to say is Lindsay better not show up. I hate her. I love this story so much though!

Okay with that heartfelt plea for comments, I had to remove my “I love lurking” t-shirt and let you know how I felt. I love your story. And as a matter of fact, I don’t mind fluff. I am so drained from angst and drama that I whole-heartedly welcome several (yes, several) chapters of spashley fluff. So don’t kill me with the bachelorette party. They’ve come so far and through so much drama already. Now that was hilarious that Spencer’s vows were in her vagina. I was laughing so hard at that. This update was great. I am keeping my fingers crossed that you will keep it fluffy until after the HOT honeymoon, end of virginity NC-17 fest I know you must be plannning *wink*. lol. Update soon…
