Not The Type – (Chapter: Right Or Wrong)
“You’re leaving?”I get up and follow her.
“ Yeah…the store thing got me in a bad mood.” I don’t say anything just stare at her. “Are you going to be okay?”
“No…I’m kind of getting pissed.” I tell it how it is. “I don’t understand why you’re leaving.”
“I jus…” She closes her eyes. “I love that you’re not afraid to stand up for us…for anything that you believe in.”
“It didn’t sound like that ten minutes ago.” I just had to be a smart ass.
“You know that’s not true…and see that’s why I feel like tonight it’s just too intense between us.” She leans her back against my front door. “You’re so stuck on how right you think you are, that you’re not even considering that the way I think we should handle things is more responsible.”
“Spencer that happen like thirty fucking minutes ago…can we please move on?” We are so about to have our first hug fight. I can feel it.
“We’ve been moved on, Ashley.” What. “This conversation is not about what happen in that store anymore, now it’s about situation that can happen in the future and how we as a couple should handle them.”
“You have your way and I have mine.” I sigh. End of story.
“I’ll call you tomorrow.” Spencer pushes herself off the door and quickly peeks my lips before opening the front door.
“You are not seriously mad?” I question following her to her car.
“Bye.” She gets in her car and shuts the door.
“…And then she fucking left.”
“Ashley, watch your mouth!” My mom yells when she walks past Brooke’s open door.
“Why aren’t you whining to one of your friends about this?” She says flipping the page on a Cosmo Mag. “Like Taylor…you guys cool now.” I haven’t really talked to Taylor since we went to the bar two weeks ago. I don’t even know if Amber told her that we’re not talking anymore. Probably not. Anyway, I have no time to think about that.
“Because that would only piss Spencer off more,” I say from her bed. “That’s one thing you don’t do.” Gotta school the kid. “You never go talk about anything going on between you and your current girlfriend…boyfriend, whatever…with your ex. It’s just asking for trouble.”

i loved that you presented the fight this way- where things dont have to get overly dramatic or nasty. it was absolutely realistic and im sure many lesbian couples have had the same discussion/argument. i really like reading about everyday life kinda stuff with spashley :)
