“Umm…I…” Ashley mumbles incoherently
Now I grin really big. I love the fact that I can completely empty her mind of everything except me when I begin to touch her. I wish I could do this while we where there to distract her from the whole thing. Well, except when she has to testify. I just don’t like it when she’s this nervous. I sigh because I know it’s getting late, so I pull back, give her a quick peck on the lips and say, “Let’s go beautiful.”
She opens her eyes and sadly nods her head as she pulls away and grabs her purse. I do the same and follow her out of the loft. But just as I’m locking the door she hugs me from behind and whispers in my ear, “I love your suit too. Shows off your beautiful legs.”
I groan, turn around quickly so that I can kiss her but she’s already walking down the hall. I groan in frustration and follow her to the garage.

We get to the courthouse and we are met by the D.A. that is handling Allison’s case in the courthouse lobby. Unfortunately he doesn’t have good news for us.
“Ms, Davies, Ms. Carlin, thank you for coming.” D.A. Tom Butler smiles nervously
“Hello, Mr. Butler.” Ashley and I both say at the same time
The D.A. begins to nervously run his hand through hair and not look at us. I immediately know something is wrong so I ask, “Is something wrong, Mr. Butler?”
“Um…yeah.” D.A. Butler says finally looking at us
“What?” Ashley and I both say at the same time
“Well, after discussing it with my colleagues’ and boss we have decided to extend a plea bargain to Ms. Michaels. We offered her to plead guilty to attempted assault with a weapon and possessing an illegal firearm. The sentence will 10 years in jail but she will be released with time served, 3 years of probation and a $10,000 dollar fine.” D.A. Butler says quietly
“No.” Ashley squeaks
“You’ve got to be kidding me?” I say angrily
“I know this isn’t what you ladies were expect and neither was I but we have to look at this objectively. She didn’t actually hurt anybody, she has a clean record and she’s shown remorse over the incident. We just don’t feel the jury was going to convict her of attempted murder. This is the next best thing.” D.A. Butler says firmly

i can’t believe melissa is doing this just to get back at spencer or ashley or to get to spencer with ash out of the way but either way this girl has got to know by doing this she’s pushing spencer away and now spencer can tell on melissa as well pms

I can’t believe Melisa did that just to get back at Spencer and Ashley. There had to be other witnesses during the incident. I love the drama though in this story, just not in my life. PMASAP.

OMG! For me. Thank you soooooo much. You definitely know how to make a woman smile. *wink* Well I will have you know that I loved it. I can’t believe Allison got off with such an easy deal (but that was so realistic. happens like that all the time). OMG! and the Mrs. Dennison case. That lawyer was pissing me off! Oh was I angry when I read that the witness was Melissa! She would do anything to ruin Spencer’s relationship. You just know that she’s going to lie. When are they going to ask Mrs. Dennison what she was actually doing? I hope they bring in the nurse that Spencer yelled to get security or something. That DA better get on her job and quick! c’mon??? Why can’t Melissa get over it? Especially now when they already have to worry about the Allison threat, why add Aiden’s mother to the mix?? grr!!! Well, I do love the drama, but that just makes me angry. Awesome update!!!

great update. but there were other nurses around besides melissa, right? maybe hailey could offset her testimony? i just think that melissa’s testimony would be considered irrelevant because of her own emotional connections to spencer and ashley, which hailey clearly is aware of. this can’t fly in court…

Ok Melissa is gonna be the devil herself..there just had to be some sort of drama with this case. These girls never get a break. Well if Allison gets off with a slap on the wrist, does the same thing go for Mrs. dennison aswell? GOD i certainly hope not. I like the drama and please please please post more soon!
