“so…what do you think they’re going to do?” I asked her

 “who knows…those two are so unpredictable” she told me then Brooke came out of the hospital room and shut the door

“she’s still sleeping…” she said ignoring me “…I’ll be back probably tomorrow morning, I have to go home and clean everything before she comes back home…” she added

“ok B…I’ll see you later then…” Kyla said giving her a hug, and she still ignored me, so I just walked into Ashley’s hospital room and sat in the chair Brooke was sitting in

“hey you…” I said but she didn’t respond “…good thing I bugged out about your seatbelt all those years, because tonight it really paid off…” I added “…I can’t believe I almost lost you tonight…I don’t know what I would do without you Ash…” I said resting my head on the edge of my bed

“you’d be fine…” I heard her mumble

“there you are…” I said smiling at her “…how do you feel?”

“like I got hit by a truck…” she said

“that’s a little ironic…” I replied and she laughed lightly until she got a look of pain on her face “…Brooke was here earlier…” I told her then she held my hand lacing our fingers together

“I’m just glad I saw you when I woke up…”

“Ashley…look, just because you’re in a hospital bed doesn’t mean I’m going to act like you don’t have a fiancée, because you do…Ashley you really need to choose…”

“Spencer I want you…” she said

“do you want me in bed Ashley? Or do you want to be with me?” I asked her for clarification

“I want to be with you Spencer…” she said

“then why is Brooke still wearing that ring?”

“it’s not easy ok? breaking up with a fiancée…”

“look, I promised you I’d wait no matter how long it took, whether you get married or not I’ll be here for you…but if you do walk down that aisle with Brooke at the end of it, I want you to be happy…because they say to prove your love you need to sacrifice, and if you get married then I’ll get over you…It’ll take time and it’ll hurt, but I’ll do it because I want you to be happy and not see me crying over you…” I explained to her “…because I love you Ashley, and I just want you to be happy, because that will always be enough for me…”
