    Ashley meets the parents

    September 13, 2009 7:07 pm PST

    Paula: “Spencer, honey!”

    Spencer: “Hi, mom!” I wrap my arms around her in a tight hug. She squeezes me several times before she pulls away.

    Paula: “Your hair has gotten so long! And you’ve lost weight, honey, are you eating?”

    Spencer: “Yes, mom, I’m eating! Hi dad!” My father has just walked over carrying a few suitcases and with a carry-on flung around his neck. He places them down as he scoops me up into a hug.

    Arthur: “Hey, Spencer! I’ve missed you.” I hug him even tighter; I’ve missed him so much!

    Paula: “Arthur, doesn’t she look like she’s lost weight? We pay a lot of money for the meal plan of yours I hope it’s not going to waste.” I let go of my dad and look at my mom.

    Spencer: “I promise I’m eating, you don’t have to worry.” I hear Ashley clear her throat and both of my parents attention finally falls on her.

    Ashley: “Mr. and Dr. Carlin, I’m Ashley Davies, a friend of your daughter’s.” She reaches out her hand to my mother first and after a surprised second my mother takes Ashley’s hand looking, dare I say, impressed?

    Paula: “Nice to meet you, Ashley.” They shake hands and Ashley reaches out to my father who also shakes her hand.

    Arthur: “It’s nice to meet you, Ashley.” He shoots me a smile; good, he remembers who Ashley is.

    Ashley: “Let me help you with your luggage, you must be tired from your trip.” She scoops up the carry-on and flings it around her own neck before picking up the two other suitcases.

    Arthur: “That’s not necessary, Ashley, I can do it.” She smiles at him shyly.

    Ashley: “No please, allow me. My mother travels a lot and I know how exhausting it can be and I want you to save your energy, Spencer has a nice weekend planned for both of you. My car is right out front if you would like to follow me.” Dad smiles and shrugs as he begins to follow Ashley through the double doors.

    Paula: “She seems like a very nice young woman, Spencer, I’m glad you’re making good friends.” She too follows Ashley out and I stand for a moment a little shocked before I head out after them.

    1. man was I missing this one! so glad you updated on it stix! the whole thing was fabulous! god ash was so every parent’s wet dream. damn. and the whole car scene, right before going in to eat with the ‘rents? HOT! and ash’s little emotional meltdown was heartbreaking. oh and my fav line “I promise I’m eating, you don’t have to worry” I LOVE YOU STIX!!!

    3. i totally forgot how much i missed this story. liek not in a bad way though its jus cause MD is so freakin awesome. but so is this one. but what i love the most is that after readin the last MD chapter this morning and then this one in the same day, you are an extremely versitle (tht isnt pelled right haha) writer and its crazy amazin!

    6. i read this whole story last night because i like MD and it took me foreverrrr! but it was worth it, i like it a lot! i think i like this ashley & spencer better than the ones in MD :0

    7. See, this story in itself is excellent and as you know I’ve always been a big fan…chapter 28, I can’t beleive it! Ashley did such a good job with Mrs C…I am wondering how she’s going to take it when she finds out about Ash and Spencer…and of course the hot sex is a bonus!! Shame you didn’t have time to go into the reward sex in any detail lol! I love MD but this will always have a special place in my fan fiction heart!! Plus it’s bloody brilliant.

    8. awwwww. i love this story. is it wrong if….(do i dare say it?)…i think i like this more than MD? Thursday updates are far too few for my liking.
