    Ashley meets the parents

    To say I was worried about this meeting is an understatement. Of course I knew the whole “history” of the first time Ashley and my mother met so naturally I was worried. I kept promising myself that either way it wouldn’t matter because I knew Ashley and I were meant for each other, but I would be lying if I didn’t say that I really hoped they get along.

    But I reasoned that if they didn’t, my parents were a five hour plane ride away and that even in the “past” my mother did eventually warm up to Ashley…but if they were to hit it off right away…

    I can’t let myself go there. So what if her first impression of Ashley was a good one. I do have to say that calling my mother “Dr.” Carlin was a smart move. However, Ashley is Ashley and she won’t lie to my parents just to get them to like her. She is too headstrong and proud of who she is and that’s a very big reason why I love her. I don’t want her to lie and I won’t let her.

    Ashley: “Okay, this is me.” She rushes around to the passenger side door to unlock it despite her full hands and flips the release on the front seat to allow my father to climb into the back. Once he does she fixes the seat and my mother gets in the front.

    Ashley then scurries over to the other side of the car to open the driver side door for me and allows me to get into the back. She leaves the door open and heads to the trunk to put my parent’s things inside. I twist my head to watch her bend over backwards for my parents and I can’t help but think that she is definitely going to be rewarded.

    Arthur: “Ashley seems nice, Spencer.” He looks over and smiles and I return it.

    Spencer: “Yeah, she really is.” We share a secret look and he rubs my back. Good, he’s happy for me. Ashley climbs in to the front seat and buckles her seatbelt before adjusting her review mirror. She puts the keys into the ignition and turns to my mother.

    1. man was I missing this one! so glad you updated on it stix! the whole thing was fabulous! god ash was so every parent’s wet dream. damn. and the whole car scene, right before going in to eat with the ‘rents? HOT! and ash’s little emotional meltdown was heartbreaking. oh and my fav line “I promise I’m eating, you don’t have to worry” I LOVE YOU STIX!!!

    3. i totally forgot how much i missed this story. liek not in a bad way though its jus cause MD is so freakin awesome. but so is this one. but what i love the most is that after readin the last MD chapter this morning and then this one in the same day, you are an extremely versitle (tht isnt pelled right haha) writer and its crazy amazin!

    6. i read this whole story last night because i like MD and it took me foreverrrr! but it was worth it, i like it a lot! i think i like this ashley & spencer better than the ones in MD :0

    7. See, this story in itself is excellent and as you know I’ve always been a big fan…chapter 28, I can’t beleive it! Ashley did such a good job with Mrs C…I am wondering how she’s going to take it when she finds out about Ash and Spencer…and of course the hot sex is a bonus!! Shame you didn’t have time to go into the reward sex in any detail lol! I love MD but this will always have a special place in my fan fiction heart!! Plus it’s bloody brilliant.

    8. awwwww. i love this story. is it wrong if….(do i dare say it?)…i think i like this more than MD? Thursday updates are far too few for my liking.
