    You weren’t promising anything or trying to fix me.

     

    “So you mean to tell me that you haven’t had any groupies in here.” I said teasingly with a quirked eyebrow.

     

    “Oh shut up!” she said blushing slightly while pulling me down next to her.

     

    I must have been more tired than I thought because we both fell into sleep quickly.  When I woke I was still wrapped in my robe and Ashley was missing.  I got up and shuffled down the interconnecting hallways to the living room.  It was empty but I heard music coming from below me and noticed stairs leading to the lower level.  I admired the ocean view through the massive windows as I made my way down the stairs.  They led to a wide open game room with a couple of pool tables, a bar, piano and small stage.  Ashley was on the stage playing a riff from Blink-182-Down on a set of drums.  She was engrossed in the music.  I sat on a bar stool and watched.  She finally looked up and caught sight of me.  She smiled and expertly twirled a drum stick in her left hand.

    “Hey I was just waiting for the dryer to finish, I was going to bring your clothes to you…I got side tracked.” She said. 

    “It seems as though every time I come looking for you I find you playing a different instrument.  Is there anything you can’t play?” I asked.

    “Uhh yes.  I suck at playing anything that requires me to blow air into it.”  She said laughing.

     

    I nodded.  “I always feel like I am interrupting you when I find you playing, but I can’t force myself to leave.  I love watching you.” I said.

    Ashley blushed. “Well, I love it when you watch me, so don’t worry about interrupting.”  She hopped of the stage and made her way to me.  She grabbed the front of my robe and pulled me down to her lips for a kiss.  I let my tongue trace her lower lip.

     

    “Hmmm you are naked under that robe.” She said against my mouth as her hands went to the front tie.  She looked from me to one of the pool tables and back to me again.  She raised her eyebrows mischievously.

    “Absolutely not Ms. Davies.” I said knowing full well what was going through her mind.

     

    “Awhh, come on Spence.  It’ll be fun.” She sing-songed.  I didn’t doubt her for a second that it would be fun, but if we didn’t get out of this house soon we would be stuck here “having fun” all day.  Which really wasn’t too bad of an idea, but I wanted to see some of LA.

    “Ash, I know this will be hard for you to understand, but I am going to say no to the pool table right now.” I said teasingly.

     

    “But….WHY?” she asked with mock hurt and slyly tried to slip her hands into my robe.  I slapped them away gently.

     

    “Check those 14 year old boy hormones for just a little bit and get me out into the LA sun.” I said grabbing my dry clothes from her.  She pouted….I couldn’t resist the pout.

     

    I stepped back to her and whispered. “I will make it up to you later.”  She groaned as I gently bit her ear. I started to walk up stairs to change but turned back around quickly only to catch her pumping her fist in the air and silently mouthing “Score!!”.

    I couldn’t help but laugh.  Seriously…how could I not love this girl?
