The Encounter
"Just shut up and listen." I said while laughing. "I want to ask you about something important. Now there is no reason to be embarrassed if its true and no reason you should feel the need to hide anything from me. I'm not going to look at you any less." I sat down in the chair that was facing him and caught his eyes. "Jake kind of has it in his head you might have a thing for him."
Emmett laughed and almost choked on his food. "What?!" He took a sip of water and continued talking. "Don't get me wrong, I love the guy to death in like a brother loving way and we get along great, but its defiantly nothing more than that. Although I am kind of flattered." He smirked jokingly.
"Alright, alright. Please don't say anything to him ok?" Thats when it struck me I had promised to not say anything and I felt completely horrible about it all now. "I kind of promised him I wouldn't bring it up. I didn't exactly know if he had built up the courage to talk to you about it."
He held up his hand and smiled. "Don't worry about it man, this is the first time I have heard anything. I'm not going to say anything to him."
"Thanks." I smiled and stood to go, giving him one last look over my shoulder. "You're sure there is nothing we can talk about? I mean, like I said, its ok if its true."
Emmett laughed again. "Positive."
I just shook my head and smiled as I tried to locate Bella and Alice. They were nowhere to be found though. I saw everyone else that had been standing around waiting to shoot the next scene, except the two of them. Even Jake was back from where ever he had been so I approached him to see if he knew anything.
"Hey Jake, you have any idea where the girls went?"
He looked up from the the conversation he was having to nod. "I think they went to Alice's trailer to have 'girl' time or something." He shrugged, not too concerned and went back the conversation he was having.
