"Hello?"

"I’m back. It was hell trying to find Spencer or whatever her name is."

"Oh, did you find her?"

"I’m right here, Ashley." she ran into the room and jumped on the couch next to Ashley.

"The town guards had to escort us back."

"Why?" Ashley jumped out of her seat.

"Jack Of Blades is back."

"Oh, bugger! I thought that he was dead."

"Apparently not. He was last seen about 5 miles out of town. They are calling anybody that can hold a sword down to the town gate."

"Mom, Dad, I need to go down there."

"No! You can’t go Ashley. You’ve only been here for 2 hours and I can’t handle losing you again."

"Mom, you never lost me. I’ve always been here." Spencer stood up and walked over to Ashley grabbing hold of her hand.

"I have to. I don’t have any other choice, it’s either stay here and see everybody die, or get my ass down there and fight for the town."

"Don’t go, please!" her mother was now crying her eyes out. Ashley could feel her mothers pain, she wanted to take it all away. She wanted to do something right for once in her life.

"Spencer, are you with me?" she turned to her best friend.

"Till the end, Ash." at that moment Ashley realized that she was in love with this beautiful blonde woman.

"I’m coming with you." her father down the stairs in the family’s armor, wielding their coat of arms.

"No, you need to stay here with mom. If I die she at least will have you."

They set out to the town gates fully knowing the danger that lay ahead of the three of them.

Ashley and Spencer walked hand in hand to let each other know that they would always be there for one another. Her father walked proudly, like a knight that just won a tournament. The moment of tranquillity was shot down in one moment by the sound of a loud explosion.

"He’s here." Ashley said. "We need to hurry if we want this town to stay safe."

They ran off to the main gate. I really don’t want to die today, I can’t die, not now. I love her so much but I can’t tell her how I truly feel about her. I need to tell her before I die….
