Ashley and Spencer were sprawled out on the bed, legs tangled together, and arms thrown over each other. The opening menu to ‘Legally Blonde’ playing, and while both girls were asleep, Ashley was mumbling/singing along with the song that was playing on the menu. Spencer finally woke up and stood up when she couldn’t take one more line from the song ‘Perfect Day’.
“On this perfect daymgf…nothings standing…in my waymphff…on this perfect daaaaaayyyyfffm…” Ashley mumbled singing along with the menu.
“Wow you are just too cute, but this song NEEDS to go!” So Spencer untangled her self from her sleeping lover and turned off the TV.
Just then Ashley’s cell phone started ringing, and in her half asleep daze she swatted at the nightstand with her eyes still closed trying to grab her phone, but only succeeding in knocking it off the table and sending the lamp along with it.
“Screw it…” Ashley mumbled and turned on her other side.
“Alright I guess I’ll be answering it! Ashley’s phone, Spencer speaking,”
“Ash wakes up! It’s your dad!”
And surprisingly she sat up with her eyes still closed and motioned for Spencer to give her the phone. Spencer gave it to her and cuddled up next to her drawing shapes on her exposed stomach.
“Hello?” Ashley said groggily.
“Hey kiddo. I’ve got a surprise for you! Well it’s probably more of a surprise for Spencer, but none the less you should be happy! I just got my statement from my credit cards, and it seems the one you have has only been used a few times, and 4 out of 5 of them were for food. What exactly have you two been doing up there? Shagging all the time then going to get some food? You two need to get out more, and enjoy the city in a day full of shopping! I didn’t give you my no limit spending credit card for no reason! So I talked to a few of my producer buddies, and they hooked you up with a private afternoon with the entire cast of ‘Friends’ at Central Perk where the show was filmed at 1:00, and after that I expect a full day of shopping! Are we understood young lady?” Ashley’s dad explained.
