“Uh yeah we’re understood. Thanks a lot dad! I’ll talk to you later okay?”

“Yep, have fun short stuff. Hasta luego!” And with that the phone clicked off.

“What was that all about babe?” Spencer asked.

“Well my dad set up a private afternoon for you and me with the cast of ‘Friends’ at Central Perk, and then he said, no wait demanded, that we go shopping for the rest of the day…” Ashley explained.

“Oh my God! Really? The cast of friends, no way! That’s my favorite show!” Spencer exclaimed as she stood up and danced on the bed.

“Oh yeah, me too, but um…its 8:30 AM…remind me why we aren’t sleeping?” Ashley moaned as she grabbed one of Spencer’s ankles and she flew back on the bed landing on her butt. “Come cuddle with me you over excited poodle…”

“Excuse me? Poodle? I don’t think so!” Spencer said playfully slapping her girlfriend.

“Ugh what ever…”

“Oh fine you big baby. You know I want to do nothing more than cuddle with you!”

“That’s what I thought…g’night Spence.”

“Night Ash.”

The duo awoke again at 10:30 AM and decided to start to get ready. They left at about 12:15 to head for the city, and enjoyed a peaceful car ride with each other holding hands with intertwined fingers the whole way.

“Dun nu nu nu nu nu nu nu nu…” Spencer hummed.

“Spence, is that the theme song to ‘Friends’ that you are humming?” Ashley asked.

“Uh maybe…”

“Oh you’re so cute! But why are you so excited anyways? I mean its just a few celebrities.”

“Ash, I’ve never met a celebrity before.”

“Really? Wow, that’s surprising…I guess I just assumed…I mean…I’ve met so many…and well…oh well! We are going to make this day great then!”

“Thanks Ash.”

When they finally arrived at Central Perk, the entire cast of friends really was there. Spencer was wide eyed and star struck as she met all the famous cast members, while Ashley greeted them like old friends. (Her dad had done this for her 4 years ago for her birthday, so she was pretty well acquainted with all of them, and spoke to Jennifer Aniston on a regular basis.) Spencer was having a great time drinking coffee and mingling with everyone, but Ashley decided she was going to surprise her. She was able to sneak off without much difficulty, because Spencer was completely wrapped up in conversation with Jennifer Aniston. She was gone for only an hour and when she slipped back in the coffee house, it seemed on Jennifer noticed she was gone. By now Spencer was talking with all the other cast members.
