The Slayer Chronicles: Episode 2
A quick assessment revealed Willow strapped to what looked like an operating table. A man stood over her with a syringe and he was holding onto an IV tube as if he were going to inject it into Willow. Surrounding them were the missing Slayers.
“Shit,” Faith muttered under her breath before somersaulting to the closest girls and quickly engaging them in combat. Buffy went the opposite direction and began to attack the girls on the other side. Kennedy had one target in her sights; the man with the syringe. She dodged and avoided two Slayer Vamps as she made her way to Willow. Nothing was going to stop her from saving her friend. The man’s hands were shaking as he watched her approach and he tried with all he had to slip the needle into the end of the IV tube. Kennedy was too fast for him. She reached the man, wrenched the syringe from his hand, and smashed it on the ground. She then grabbed him by the collar and threw him against the nearest wall where he was immediately knocked unconscious. Willow was struggling with her bonds and Kennedy moved in the direction to release her. Before she could get there, one of the vamps jumped on her back knocking her to the ground where she landed face down.
“Nobody hurts master!” the demon screamed as she pounced on Kennedy. Before it landed, Kennedy rolled to her back with her stake at her midsection pointing up. The vampire landed on it and writhed in agony as it slowly turned to dust. Kennedy quickly rejoined the vertical and ran to Willow. She had time to tear the restraints from the bed and remove the gag from Willow’s mouth before two more girls tried to attack her. She spun around and lashed out at the first vampire before it could reach her.
“I… am…so… tired… of… you… vamps… trying… to…hurt… my… friends!” she screamed as she landed a blow on both vampires with each word. The two former Slayers had no chance to fight back. Kennedy put all of her rage and frustration from the past few weeks into attacking them. She picked up a small wooden chair by its legs and broke it against the backs of the now retreating vampires. Having gotten them both into a corner, Kennedy used the chair legs as stakes and drove them through the former Slayers at the same time. Breathing hard, Kennedy turned to see what was happening with Faith and Buffy. They were standing there watching her and smiling.
