I watch her walk away smiling really wanting it to be lunch right now, but at the same time afraid because I knew what was coming next.

The next two class periods went by quickly probably because I wasn’t paying attention and my mind kept wondering through many different scenarios of how lunch was going to go.

We get to the table with Aiden and we just finish eating out lunch and I notice that Aiden and Spencer exchange looks and with that Aiden quickly excuses himself from the table.

"What was up with that?" I asked

"I don’t know" she responds way too quickly

"Spence….what’s going on?

"Ashley we need to talk like seriously because I can’t take this just friends thing we have going on anymore"

"Look…." I begin to say but she cuts me off

"I know what you are going to say and I do not want to hear it anymore because all I am hearing now is excuses. I know you want this so don’t even try to deny it. We need to start being real with ourselves a recognize what is going on here. You and I have an opprotunity to experience something so special why are you trying to run away from it?"

I sit and seriously think about it

"I don’t want to lose you Spencer and I know that if we get together I will hurt you"

"By now you should know I am not going anywhere, I have heard all the stories and I set back and let you continue to run around with all the girls who mean nothing to you and I am not going to set back and watch anymore….I care about this….I care about you to much to let this continue so let’s stop playing around," she grabs my hand " and allow ourselves to have what we really want…each other."

I look at her with a loss for words because this is what I want and I should really stop fighting this but I just sit here looking at her.

"Are you gonna say something" She gets me out of my own head and back to reality and with the quickness that surpsises both me and her I bring her into a kiss that tells her eveything she needs to know. The bell rings and we stop and look into each others eyes I ask her:

"Are you sure?"

"I have never been so sure of anything in my life, everything is going to be okay"

I believe her…..
