    Time Limit

With the tension between Bella and Edward resolved, the days seemed to move by smoother. The Quileute pack seemed to be loosening up around the vampires, though they obviously would rather not be around them, and Vincent didn't seem to be a problem for anyone but Jacob now, though he never did pay much attention to the Englishman.

Seer hadn't been around lately, and with the lack of portals opening, it seemed the Tainteds decided to lay low for a while. This should have been cause for worry, but with all the training getting done, Bella couldn't find it in her to panic over the lack of action. She needed a rest anyway.

The Calca, Cullens, and Protectors were coming along nicely. They had progressed faster than she did under the Siberian pack, and she had both werewolf and vampire blood running through her! It never ceased to amaze Bella to walk outside or in one of the large rooms of the manor and see the fluid grace and impressive speed the creatures used against each other.

The only real problem was teamwork, but Bella didn't really expect the Cullens and Quileute pack to get along all of a sudden. Years of enmity wouldn't disappear overnight, no matter how much Bella wished it would. The barrier between them would always exist, even in the midst of war.

Sam nodded to each of his pack and the Siberian pack, as well as Tenzie, before he left. Bella wished he would stay, she preferred having everyone together with the threat so high, but he had Emily to get home too. If the Tainteds weren't so dangerous for a human, no matter how strongly intertwined they were in the supernatural world, the halfa would've asked Emily to join them as well. At the very least, she knew exactly how much to cook for her boys.

Bella nodded in reply when he looked in her direction. She hadn't spoken more than ten words to Sam, or any of the pack really, and she felt bad, neglectful because of it. Shouldn't she be interacting with everyone if she so desperately wanted them to work together? They would also need to work with her, and she couldn't isolate herself with one group if they were to work in sync later.
