Tenzie and Vincent treated the others with kindness, though a certain strain existed in Vincent's voice when speaking to those particularly close to Bella – particularly Edward and Jacob. Unfortunately for the halfa, both vampires and werewolf didn't hide their dislike at all, openly glaring and growling at each other whenever the opportunity arose or they thought Bella wasn't looking.

She hated that two of her dearest friends and the love of her life wouldn't get along at all. She hoped Edward and Vincent might, both being vampires, but they seemed to have a tenser relationship than Vincent and Jacob, Edward and Jacob. Odd since Jacob was the werewolf, and supposedly their sworn enemy.

Right when Bella started to protest their attitudes, she remembered the kiss between herself and Vincent right before his death. A blush would stain her cheeks immediately following the memory, and she would hurriedly excuse herself, refusing to look Vincent in the eye as she rushed out of the room.

Her strange behavior didn't go unnoticed. Edward and Jacob saw these hasty retreats and blushing glances, and knowing Bella as they did, they knew something happened between herself and the oldest vampire. It only fueled their dislike, and thus the glares and growls started anew.

Tenzie wasn't anymore impressed with Vincent's behavior than Bella. He thought his friend should treat them with kindness instead of glaring and growling constantly, not that the pup and other bloodsucker didn't do the same. Tenzie knew Vince had feelings for Bella, he also knew it could never be between them. Bella's heart belonged to Edward and always would, there was no changing that no matter how much Vince might wish differently.

When he saw the two vampires yet again shooting daggers at each other, he resolved to have a talk with Vince soon. The redhead needed to learn that sometimes he couldn't have what he wanted, and in those situations, he needed to let go and let the one he loved be happy.

The other's happiness was all that should matter to someone in love.

    TIME LIMIT

Tenzie wasn't the only one deciding to have a confrontation. Edward figured he should tell Bella how he felt about Vincent and see if he couldn't find out what happened between them. He trusted Bella with his life, but he didn't trust Vincent or Tenzie – especially Vincent. They were far too close to Bella for his comfort, and considering one was a werewolf and the other a vegetarian vampire – no doubt Bella's doing, as he'd thought when he first spotted them – didn't help matters any.
