Spencer woke to find a mass of white and grey fur in front of her and the distant smell of salmon and gravy along wit the soothing sound of the kittenz purr. She lifted her head to glance at the clock and saw the red numbers 8.27

Ugh, I so don’t want to go to work right now…

Just as she thought this her cell phone began to vibrate. She flipped it open and saw a new text message

Spencer smiled at this as she remembered that it was her new friends birthday today.

Yeah I.ll be there! Oh and just so u know carmen won’t be coming.

At the sound kylas reply. Pennz.z head shot up and he yawned into a stretch. Spencer stratched his head and checked her phone.

Spencer closed her phone and smiled remembering how kyla had never liked carmen. Whenever carmen insisted on tagging along with them she had made it unbearable with her constant wondering eyes and comments about her friend that just irked her. Soon a cry of meows got her out of her train of thought. Looking at the door she spotted her kitty. His round tummy and scrawny little legs walking in small circles by the door. ‘I.m coming P.’ he took of as she got up and spencer laughed to her self loving how his little tail stuck straight up.

Finally an hour later spencer was ready for work. Grabbing her keys she gave pennz a small kiss and was out the door.

Spencer worked as an executive at virgin records. She liked her job a lot and usually looked forward to it. But today just had to be the day that her now ex-girlfriend was walking in at the same time. When they were together spencer loved coming to work at the same time as she did. Carmen worked at a detailing office 4 stories below her offices and had made a habit of visiting spencer on her breaks. But now seeing the girl spencer wanted nothing to do with her. Spencer tried to go straight to the elevators unnoticed but failed as she soon felt familiar hands grasp her waist and felt warm breath against her hair saying ,”hey baby. Did you miss me?” spencer pulled herself out of carmens hands and faced her. “Carmen, no. Just leave me alone” she then pressed the close door button and the last thing she saw was carmens smirk that sent chillz down her body.
