As I leaned up against the tree while my family met this strange girl, I knew I needed to do something. How did she end up here? Why her? I just stayed back when Rosalie walked Nikki in with Carlisle and Esme. The song in her head, itkind of fit her and her bubbly punk rock ways. Was she happy?

Get up, Get up, Let the good times roll, Everybody else just needs to see through different eyes, From the outside looking in we shout the anthem of our lives.

"Edward!" Alice skipped up to me whispering. I was able to hear her. We have insane hearing. Emmett and Jasper followed her up to me.

"What is it Alice?"

"Jeez, no need for the attitude. Fate brought her here, how am I suppose to help that? Her backyard just so happens to be connected to ours, too. I'm not walking away anymore. And she is different, like us. Tell me that isn't absolutely insane."

"I think you're absolutely insane Alice. This is stupid, just bring her home." I told her with assertiveness in my voice.

"Well, isn't that too bad? There's a reason she's here Edward. This isn't just a coincidence anymore. Even Carlisle thinks this is how things are suppose to be." She told me and then she turned and walked away into the house.

"She's right, man. There has to be a reason she's here. Even when you tried to make things different, fate found its way." Emmett said while patting me on the shoulder as he passed to walk into the house.

"There's something about her Edward, I don't feel the need to put her in a good mood or calm her down." Jasper said and walked in.

NPOV

When we got into the house we walked up the stairs and into this wide open living room. Oh my God, it was beautiful. Windows everywhere, and even though there were clouds out it was still bright, everything was white. Not a good idea of having me in there, accident prone and white don't mix.

"Come sit, Nikki. If I tell you something don't get scared, okay?" Alice leaned into me while I went over to sit next to her. Great she's a nut case too and she wants to rip my skin off…. what?
