Spencer: “Excuse me?”
Glen: “You heard me.”
Arthur: “Knock it off Glen.”

My dad had a seriousness in his tone. Clay just sat there looking as shocked as I was. Clay wasn’t good with confrontation, so he mostly sat on the sidelines.

Glen: “I’m not going to just sit there and let her bash MY mother when she is the one that would rather be off with that Ashley than to spend time with mom on the weekends. She wont even talk to her when she calls.”
Arthur: “Glen, I said that is enough!”
Spencer: “Mom hasn’t tried speaking to me in over a year. I don’t know where the Hell you are coming from. None of us have seen her.”
Glen: “Oh, really? Is that why she calls EVERY DAY? Is that why I see her a few times a week? Is that why she is so sad every time I see her, because her only daughter has disowned her?”
Spencer: “Mom doesn’t call.”

She couldn’t have been calling. Why would she call and talk to Glen and not me. How could she be seeing him and not the rest of us?

Glen: “Mom calls every day and  you refuse to speak to her. Stop playing like you‘re an idiot. Though you do it so well.”

He was being a real big jerk. I wasn’t quite yelling at him, but my voice wasn’t low and calm either.

Spencer: “If mom calls you then she is a liar. She hasn’t tried talking to me. She hates me. She wants nothing to do with me. It is none of your business, so back off.”
Glen: “My mother isn’t a liar. You are. You are turning against her, because she wasn’t happy here. Could you be any more selfish. She is just trying  to be happy and you can’t even give her that.”
Spencer: “You MUST be high. Mom left because I AM GAY and she can’t handle that. She is a vile hateful person and she is playing you for a fool if she says those things to you.”
Glen: “So, YOU ARE THE REASON OUR FAMILY IS RUINED? Because you are a sick disgusting creature? You destroyed our family so you can go to Hell and burn? Madison was right. Ashley did turn you into a monster. She’s a home wrecker and worthless and… ”
