    Bust out the skeletons from the closet and burry them

    A giant fucking guilt trip. That’s what caused the mood shift. Madison felt sorry for what she’d done to Spencer but she couldn’t care less about endless cycle of torment she had inflicted on Ashley. ‘Would it be worth it to deck her again?’ Just to take one last swing at her and this time finish the job, not so much for Spencer but for her own pain and anger? It had been the most selfish thought she’d concocted in over a week. It made her feel nauseas. “How the hell is this supposed to make her life easier?”

    “Think dipshit. If I back off you then my dumbass cronies will back off too. No fights between you and me means that Spencer is no longer a target for drive-by insults or whatever pathetic shit they manage to come up with in order to please me.”

    Calling her posse of cheerbitches a bunch of dumbass cronies was highly amusing to her. It also affirmed her suspicions and gave her some insight into the Latina’s thought process. Madison was not happy at all in her current situation. In the back of her mind, she’d known it all along. Before their fallout, Madison had been different, more receptive and compassionate, more real. Now… fuck. Ashley had no clue what she was now. “Do you seriously believe you’ll be absolved for what you’ve done with shit like that?”

    “Not for Spencer. I can’t wash that away, ever. But considering what you’ve done to me, I think it’s an attractive offer.”

    She was beginning to believe that the head cheerleader was straddling the line between self-absorbed insanity and stupidity. Holding a grudge over that event was ridiculous. They had avoided discussing the subject for so long but it was about time Ashley settled it, definitely not for her benefit because she had already made peace with the issue. For the first time in a long time, she was going to help Madison even if she had to be cruel to be kind. “I didn’t do shit Madison.”

    “You fuckin used me! Not only that, you knew about Dano and Tori before I did and you didn’t say shit to me. Not a fuckin word.”

    “WE USED EACH OTHER! I just had a miscarriage and you just broke up with Dano. We both needed something to fill the void so we did blow and fucked. DEAL WITH IT.”

    There it was, an unloaded pile of crap that they had buried in the closets of their minds and hearts for too long, brought out into the open. An indescribable silence fell between them, whether it was there to allow Ashley’s words sink in or because Madison didn’t know what the hell to say, neither of them knew. All that was evident was the fact that both their cigarettes had dropped to the ground without either of them realizing or caring. Both burned slowly, becoming shorter and shorter as they extinguished themselves.

    “I didn’t say anything because Dano asked me not too. She said she’d tell you and I knew she would but Tori talked to you first.”

    A heartbeat later, Madison turned on her heel and walked away from a wired Ashley, apparently unconcerned with what her answer would be to the proposed truce. Just like life, she was an enigma the brunette couldn’t decipher. Too screwed up and too self-involved to pique her interest aside from her involvement with Spencer and Dano. She just wanted her as far out of her life as humanly possible. “I guess I accept the fuckin truce.” she grumbled, making her way towards her locker as students began to arrive for a day of classes.

    9. wtf…its like i dont check the updates on the site for two days…and all hell breaks loose!!! all of this drama going on in all these fanfics….but this….this is just insane….dano has seriously got to get back with madison ; ) and i think that will take care of all her nightmares…but as for ash and madison…that was quite a shocker, i figured madison was gonna try and make her life a living hell….but i seriously doubt that its for spencer…i think its for dano, but what ever happened to tori comming back…i want some more drama…lol
