”Man Spencer, that was classic.  And Ashley you should’ve seen your face!”  Kasey laughed while Kyla and Aiden recounted the entire story for Madison.

“Yea whatever!  Your time will come, be patient.”  The young brunette scoffed drying her hair with a towel near the fire.

Spencer smiled trying her best not to laugh.  The whole event was funny even Ashley had to admit that.  As usual, Kyla and Aiden didn’t leave any details out especially the fact that the two girls were now admittedly in love with one another.

Kasey quietly stood and walked to the small cutting board she had packed away.  With the five bass in tow she settled in next to the fire and began filleting the fish.  She earned herself a few disgusted looks from the other girls while slicing through the scales.  Minutes later the fish were completely clean; most of the waste was now burning in the fire.  Again, the young blonde scrunched up her face in repugnance.

“What?!  It’s only fish for God’s sakes!”  Kasey shrugged picking up one of the eyeballs and flicking it at Spencer.

The blonde squealed and scowled from afar.  She hid behind her girlfriend who looked on humorously.  “Kasey you are so going to pay for that!”  Spencer snuck around Ashley as Kasey set the knife down and laughed.  “Please Spenny, we all know you couldn’t hurt a fly!”

“Right, we’ll see.”  The blonde grabbed Ashley’s towel and twirled it tightly.  She snapped the towel as Kasey’s eyes widened.  ‘Aw hell, this is gonna hurt.’  She thought standing and backing away slowly.

“I was kidding!  C’mon Spencer, I was kidding!”  She swallowed hard and held her hands up defensively as the blonde approached slowly and menacingly.

The other teens could do nothing but laugh at the two who took off running into the woods.  Madison shrugged and gathered the fish that Kasey had finished filleting.  She began to add butter into the sizzling pan followed by the fish.

“Run little Kasey, RUUUUN!!!”  Spencer’s voice rose as she giggled, followed by the occasional SNAP and Kasey’s cussing in reply.

“Ashley, I still can’t believe it took you and Spencer an entire year to finally admit what was so obvious.”  Aiden nodded, agreeing with the Latina’s statement as Kyla remained silent.  The brunette’s eyes fell to the floor when she sighed deeply.
