    Chapter 41

    Chapter 41

     

    “Alice you need to calm down for me, take a deep breath” Bette said

     

    “Alice! Is Tina ok?”

     

    “She’s in the hospital Bette you need to get here, Los Feliz Medical Center, she’s in emergency care.”

     

    Bette threw the phone down and ran to her car. She was sure she broke every single speed limit, thankfully she made it to the hospital very quickly she ran thru the emergency doors to the waiting room where she saw Alice her face in her hands she noticed Alice’s blouse was covered in blood and she was crying, Shane who had a somber look in her face Shane didn’t acknowledge Bette she sat next to Alice and Kit who was rubbing Alice’s back.

     

    “Oh my god Bette, I’m so glad you’re here” Alice said as she hugged Bette.

     

    Bette hugged Alice and after a while pushed her and held her at arm’s length she looked at the blood that stained Alice’s blouse Bette felt her head spin, she needed to sit.

     

    “Alice is Tina ok? Can you please tell me what happened Please” Bette said

     

    Alice nodded

     

    “I went to the house like I’ve been doing every morning for the last week I knew she hasn’t been eating well because of the morning sickness I took her some muffins from the planet she likes, I got there and she looked really pale when I asked her if she felt ok, she fainted she hit her head on the counter on her way down, I couldn’t reach her in Tina before she fell, there was so much blood, she wasn’t waking up so I called the ambulance”

     

    “I’m sorry Bette, I tried to catch her”

     

    “It’s ok Alice, I’m thankful you were there” Bette hugged Alice

     

    Bette ran to the information counter.

     

    “Excuse me my partner Christina Kennard was just brought can you tell me where she is, in I need to see her”

     

    “I’m sorry miss are you family?”

     

    “I am her partner we live together and are having a child together! I need to be with her”

     

    “I’m sorry if you’re not family I can’t give you any information or let you in”

    1. I’m glad that Tina and baby are alright. Bette needs to get her head out of her arse! I was still mad at Bette that she has time to spend with Jodie in the morning, when Tina was alone at home, luckily Alice was there for her. thanks for the update, PPVS!

    2. I’m still mad at Bette for having to wait until Jodie showed her true colors to see what Tina was telling her all along. I would love to see Shane try to kick Bette’s ass! LOL

    8. Great chapter, I think that Bette has seen the light and will respond. She needs to tell Shane that she has caught onto Jodie’s game and has warned her off. PPS :o).

    9. Glad that Tina and the baby are fine. Bette needs to recognize that this is her last chance to treat Tina with the respect that she deserves and also to take care of her heart and the love between them. Bette has been a damned idiot for letting these things happen. She should have listened to Tina when she tried to tell her what jodi was doing. Hopefully Tina will want to continue to live with her after this, but I doubt it, for awhile I think she will want to go back to her beach property and get away from Bette until she feels she can trust her again. Thank goodness for Alice. Great chapter. Thanks for posting.

HEY Iluvmuzic, Shame that it took a bump on Tina’s head and a scare with their baby to get Bette to admit that she was too focussed on her own career and not her family.This fright lloks to have done the job and I only hope that Tina will now let Bette take care of her and the baby.This family is only just starting and needs two parents fully committed to each other as well as their child.Bette seems to have got the message.Can’t wait to find out what Tina says and thinks about it all when she wakes up.Interesting times ahead.Just perfect and scary.Many thanks from Your Loyal Fan.
