    Chapter 41

     

    “Look Bette I’m sorry if I was a little harsh, but really all the signs were there, you should have noticed something was not right, you should have made Tina come and see me sooner, we could have prevented the gash on her head, and her drop in pressure not to mention the stress the baby was put in, you need to be more vigilant of Tina and her needs, I know its hard when you’re as busy as you two are, but I’ve never seen two people more dedicated to each other and the idea of having a family  than you two.

     

    Dr. Wilson reached out and squeezed Bette’s hand

     

    “Don’t worry I’m going to give that lady of yours a piece of my mind as well.”

     

    Bette nodded as more tears fell.

     

    “As soon as the Dr. is done stitching her up I’ll come get you so you can be with her ok? She’s still a little groggy probably due to the head gash she has a mild concussion but we have every reason, to believe she’s going to be ok” Dr. Wilson squeezed Bette’s arm

     

    “When can she come home?” Bette asked

     

    “I would like to keep her over night, just to monitor her pressure and keep her hooked up to the IV, also being that she’s pregnant we really can’t give her any pain medication for the head gash, so its better she stays here at least for tonight, so we can also monitor the pain”

     

    “I’m going to fill out the necessary paper work, I’ll have the nurse come get you when the Dr. is done. Ok?”

     

    Bette nodded

     

    “Thank you Dr.”

     

    “You’re welcome”

     

    Dr. Wilson smiled and walked away, Kit pulled Bette towards a chair and made he sit.

     

    “You know Bette I always said for someone so smart you sure are dumb”

     

    “Not now Kit now is not the time”

     

    “Now is the perfect time” Kit said

     

    “I’m so proud of you Bette, all the things you have accomplished you did on your own you made it a point to never let daddy control you, but yet how you manage to let him influence your life and way of thinking is beyond me”

    1. I’m glad that Tina and baby are alright. Bette needs to get her head out of her arse! I was still mad at Bette that she has time to spend with Jodie in the morning, when Tina was alone at home, luckily Alice was there for her. thanks for the update, PPVS!

    2. I’m still mad at Bette for having to wait until Jodie showed her true colors to see what Tina was telling her all along. I would love to see Shane try to kick Bette’s ass! LOL

    8. Great chapter, I think that Bette has seen the light and will respond. She needs to tell Shane that she has caught onto Jodie’s game and has warned her off. PPS :o).

    9. Glad that Tina and the baby are fine. Bette needs to recognize that this is her last chance to treat Tina with the respect that she deserves and also to take care of her heart and the love between them. Bette has been a damned idiot for letting these things happen. She should have listened to Tina when she tried to tell her what jodi was doing. Hopefully Tina will want to continue to live with her after this, but I doubt it, for awhile I think she will want to go back to her beach property and get away from Bette until she feels she can trust her again. Thank goodness for Alice. Great chapter. Thanks for posting.

HEY Iluvmuzic, Shame that it took a bump on Tina’s head and a scare with their baby to get Bette to admit that she was too focussed on her own career and not her family.This fright lloks to have done the job and I only hope that Tina will now let Bette take care of her and the baby.This family is only just starting and needs two parents fully committed to each other as well as their child.Bette seems to have got the message.Can’t wait to find out what Tina says and thinks about it all when she wakes up.Interesting times ahead.Just perfect and scary.Many thanks from Your Loyal Fan.
