Bette stood up and gave a loving kiss to Tina. «Baby, I’d like you to meet Shane, Alice and Dana. Guys, this is Tina», Bette said, looking adoringly at Tina. «Hi, it’s so nice to meet you», Tina said, sitting down at their table. «Do you want something to drink baby?», Bette asked. «Yeah, I think I’ll have a cappuccino».
«Don’t get up, I’ll get it from you», Bette offered, stroking Tina’s arm.
«Wow, what happened to you ? I don’t think that’s Bette, you guys. I think that’s a pod person in Bette’s body pretending to be Bette», Alice said, teasing.
«Oh shut up Alice. Be nice to her while I’m gone and Tina, don’t let this one bully you», Bette said, pointing at Alice. Bette watched from afar while she waited for Tina’s order. Things seemed to be going rather well between the woman she loved and her friends. They were chatting away and laughing like they had known each other for a long time.
«Here you go. Careful, it’s hot», Bette said to Tina. «So, what were you guys talking about?», Bette asked.
«Tina told us about her life in New York and her job as a marketing consultant», Shane said.
«And I’m sure she’ll find a new job here in no time at all», Bette explained, gently stroking Tina’s back. Bette and Tina spent the afternoon at The Planet and then they left to visit Kit. «I know she’ll love you Tina», Bette said as she drove to her sister’s place.
«I can’t believe Kit Porter is your sister ! God, I love her music!», Tina told Bette, obviously excited by the idea of meeting the singer.
«How did it go with your parents T? Unless you don’t want to talk about it…»
«It went OK I guess… I tried to explained once again why I left Joe for you but…»
Bette put her hand on Tina’s thigh and stroked it softly. «I’m so sorry baby you have to go through this»
Bette pulled into Kit’s driveway and before they got out of the car, she drew Tina into her arms and gave her a big hug. «I love you», she whispered in her ear. «I love you too baby», Tina replied.

Hey Milady, Great to have anopther post from you. I just love the interactions between the gals. The gang are so protective of Bette but could all see that Tina really cares for her. I just love the way that Bette and Tina have fallen into this relationship and are now happy to let the world see who they both are. Fantastic. Many thanks for sharing this with me. A Loyal Fan.

Its impossible not to want to check each morning for a new posting of this story… your story is so expertly written… its such a beautiful love story. However I know that it wont be a easy road for Tina and Bette .PPS and thanks for sharing

I love finding an update on this story. Also love how Tina has things about Bette figured out so soon, it will just be a short time before Bette realizes that she can’t hide anything from Tina. Hopefully her parents come around. Too funny with Alice, thinking she stood a chance when Tina came in.
