A crush, a meeting then love?? – Chapter 192
Chapter 192
Bette is listening closely.
“I’m not going to graduate this year.” Julia says. It takes a second before it register with Bette. She’s then shocked.
“You’re what?” She then asks.
“Mom, please hear me out.” Julia says.
“Bette, you promised.” Tina says and put her hand on top of Bette’s.
“Okay, I’m sorry, continue.” Bette says.
“I’ve been working my but off this semester, trying to get on top. But I’m failing the math part in business class and without that I’m not passing that class. Jessie’s been trying to help me and I’ve had others in my class help me, but I just can’t seem to get it.” Julia says and looks at Bette, who is absorbing everything Julia’s saying.
“I’ve applied the same course next semester and I’m gonna work harder. I won’t give up until I pass it. Tina’s agreed to help me and I’ve accepted it. I’ll take all the help I can get.” Julia says.
Bette looks at Tina then at Julia and then back at Julia. She stands and walk around the table and gives Julia a hug from behind.
“I’m proud of you no matter what. Especially for not giving up. You did your best, we can’t ask more than that from you. We’ll all help you pass that class.” Bette says and give her a kiss on the cheek.
“Thank you.” Julia says, she looks over at Jessie, who’s smiling.
“Now, let’s dig in.” Tina says and everyone lets out a chuckle.
Later that night.
“So, Jessie, have you started on your speech yet?” Tina asks.
“No, I haven’t written down anything, only a few ideas and thoughts in my head. I’m nervous about it. Be standing in front of so many people.” Jessie replies.
“I’ll be there to cheer you on.” Julia says and squeezes Jessie’s hand softly.
“And we’ll be there too.” Tina says and smiles.
“Thanks.” Jessie says.
The phone rings and Tina glances over at Bette before she stands up to get it.
“Hello?” Tina says.
“Tina, hi, it’s Dr. Daniels.
”Oh, hi, doctor.” Tina replies as she slowly walks back into the living room.
“Tina, I’m sorry to say that the lab technician found something. He wants to take another bone marrow test. It’s probably not cancerous, but an abnormality in his blood cells.” Dr. Daniels says.

Like Tina said, does it ever end?
Man, although I enjoy drama, but this is too much … please pretty, don’t let them go through hell again.
Here we go again!! Please let them have a little bit of happiness. Great job, though!
For God’s sake at least tranquilize the little guy this time. That’s really how they do it now… really, especially with the little kids. Please……
This family needs to catch a break every now and then. Noah has been kicked from one side to the other with this illness. Hopefully it is an infection that can be healed and not cancer again. I am enjoying Julia and Bette continuing to get to know one another and that Bette treats Julia as her daughter.
Damn why the drama never end!
Please stop the drama they have had enough of it.
No more please they surely cant take much more, greta story still love it
Hey, let it be a mistake, you have let us suffer enough now.
I want to join the choir! Please, not again! poor little Noah… let’s have some fun for the family for awhile. love the story, though!
please don’t let Noah go through this again! please please! they are so happy rigth now!
Hey Lauren – I’m not angry, just a little sad, that Noah has to go through that painful test again :o(( And I’m sad for B&T, they really don’t need this!!! But I love your story anyway, so more please :o)) I hope your exam went great.
Great story..very realistic about Julia not graduationg on time, well for me at least. I’m joining the choir, and saying, b&t should be happy, at least for a while. TOo many happy belena’s and Danish outhere, I only care about a happy B&T.
Lauren hope your exams went well!! This is just another false alarm RIGHT??? You know we are looking for HAPPY ENDINGS!!! Post again when you can. THANK YOU!
