“No, no… I bet she’ll see again, it will only take a little longer than usual. We’ll check again no. Much can happen in a few hours.” Dr. Garrison says.
“We haven’t changed since last night. We though we would take it here, since… well you would look at it and…” Tina says.
“Sure, I understand. Let me see here.” He says and carefully take them off. He walks over to his medicine cabinet and takes out some sterile cloths. He then wipe Bette’s eyes.
“Now you can open them. Slowly.” Dr. Garrison says.
Bette does and Tina stands up and walks so she sees Bette’s eyes. Bette blinks a few times and then focuses.
“Not much here. It’s a little more light than usual.” Bette says.
“Okay. I’m gonna cover the windows, make it less light. It might make your eyes relax a little more.” He says and stand up and walks over to the windows and shuts the blinds. Leaving only the roof light as light source.
“I’m gonna leave your eyes in the open until I’ve checked everything else. Let them breathe a little.” Dr. Garrison says.
“Okay.” Bette replies.
“For the next thing, we have to go into the next room.” Dr. Garrison says.
“Can she come with me?” Bette asks.
“Sure. The kids can stay here. They seem to be busy, and we can leave the door open.” Dr. Garrison says.
“Thank you.” Bette says.
Dr. Garrison stands up and walks into the next room to prepare everything.
“Guys, mama and me are going into the room next door, through that door.” Tina says and points to it. “We’ll leave the door open, but you can stay here and play. But do NOT touch anything, okay?” Tina says.
“Okay mommy.” Danny says.
“And watch Andrea. If you need us, just call out, okay?” Tina says.
“Okay.” They replies.
Tina takes Bette’s hand and they walk into the other room.
At the end of examination Bette grabs Tina’s hand and smiles.
“T? Are you wearing orange today?” Bette asks.
“Yes… Oh my God, you can see.” Tina says.
Dr. Garrison had stepped out to get something so he didn’t hear it.
“It’s all a blur, but I can make out the colours. Oh my.” Bette says and keeps smiling.

Good story! Please let this be it for the medical drama…save that for the discovery health channel…lol
B & T haven’t made love/ have sex, since the accident and especially since Tina was flirting with the intern. They need to reconnect on that level, show each other they really do love each other and only desire each other. Sometimes talking is not enuff and neither is total tender loving. just my opinion.
great that Bette is recovering her sight! and she and Tina will be granmothers! i thinks that so happy times is near!
Making out colors is a start. Even if that was the best Bette’s eyes could get it’s better than nothing and she could always wear glasses. Many well wishes for Jessie and Julia and their unborn child. :) And Van has a point. B&T should have some alone time to reconnect. It can’t be too easy to find the time with 3 small kids at home.
I with Van. They need some down time together. Not a house full of kids nor anyone else. Just two people that needs to show their love to each other. thanks
Happy dance that Bette’s making out colours. Hopefully, her eyesight will return to normal. Wondering what long term effects the accident has on Bette’s arm, though. Great update.
Hey Lauren – this is a great story, and remember you’re the writer, so you decide and after all it’s only fanfic, so we should have fun….With that said I can understand that some people said WTF??, because it was really a BIIIIG surprise, Tina flirting with a man. I agree with Van’s comment to this post, B&T need to reconnect physical, some alone time and a hot NC-17 :o)) Post soon please on both stories, they’re great.
