    The memory of Tina’s family hurts. “I love you just the way you are.”

    Chapter 25

     

    After lunch Tina had to leave, she had a photo shoot with Alice for L.A. Magazine. That took up about the rest of the afternoon, she got home around 6. She went straight into the office which used to be the spare room. She uploaded all the pictures to the computer. She worked a little on them, making them better. And then she sent them to Alice.

    Bette came home late, around 9, Tina was still working on some other photos from shoots earlier this week.

    Bette had been training like a maniac this week, getting ready for the qualifying tournament, which is in only three weeks.

    Bette walked into the bedroom and put down her bags. She stood still for a moment, and then she took a seat on the bed. She bow her head down and sighs. She was exhausted.

    Tina heard the front door open and shut. She walks into the living room, but she doesnt see Bette, then she walks into the kitchen, but no Bette there either. She then walks into the bedroom, and there she sees Bette, laying back on the bed, with her feet on the floor. She walks over and takes a seat next to her, and leaning back on her side, facing Bette. She put her hand on Bettes stomach, and softly strokes it. Bette makes a low sound.

    Hi, babe. Tina says silently.

    Hi, Tee. I just had to lay down for a few moments. Bette replies. I dont remember playing golf was this tiresome. Bette says and smiles.

    How is your leg, does it hurt anymore? Tina asks.

    Sometimes I notice that its there, but I wouldnt call it pain. Bette replies and looks over at Tina who still is stroking Bettes stomach softly.

    Do you think you will make it? Tina asks softly.

    I sure hope so, or else it would be who is following you around Bette laughs. and Lara thinks Ill make it. Bette adds.

    Im so proud of you. Tina says.

    You are? Bette asks surprised.

    Yeah, your strength, you never gave up, you kept going, even if you leg hurt. I envy that. Tina replies.

    Bette rolls over to her side, facing Tina. She moves her hand up to Tinas face and gently stroking her cheek and pulls her hair back.

    4. Interesting chapter. What will happen when they go to N.C.? How will her family react when they find out that Lara is s lesbian? Will Bette get jelous when they run across some of Tina’s old girlfriends? Please continue.

    9. Great story, but I wish the girls would learn to handle situations differently. When will they learn that communication is key? I hope you sort it out for them in the next chapter.

    13. One question. Tina’s siblings; do they know why she has not been around, because in a previous chapter Lara said that her sister had not mentioned Tina or that she was a lesbian. Maybe you already answered that question and I missed it. Anyway great chapter, please post soon.
