    A lot of talk, Bette knocks on Tina’s door.

    Chapter 8

     

    Bette walks in to her moms office.

    Hey mom. Bette says and takes a seat in the chair in front of the desk.

    Hi, Bette, how are you feeling today? Her mom asks and smiles.

    Actually very good. Bette replies and smiles back.

    Do I have some time before lunch? I was hoping to talk to Dana first. Bette asks.

    Yeah, I still have a few things to finish up here, so go ahead. Mom says.

    Bette leaves the office and walks out to the tennis court. And there she is, practicing what seems to her two hand backhand. Bette takes a seat on top of the stands and waits.

    She looks at her watch, she usually has lunch at this time too Bette says to herself.

    And just as she said that, Dana and her trainer stopped. Dana takes a sip of her water and spots Bette, she waves. After a minute or two she makes her way up to Bette.

    Hey, I didnt know you were going to be here today? Dana asks as she gives Bette a hug.

    Me neither, but mom called this morning and asked to do lunch, so here I am. Bette replies.

    Dana takes a seat next to Bette.

    Sooo, how did the dinner go last night? Dana asks and smiles.

    Great, it went great, shes a wonderful person. Bette says as she smiles and thinks back on the kiss. I kissed her. Bette lets out and looks over at Dana, who almost drops her jaw to the floor.

    You kissed her? Wow Porter. Dana is able to say after a few moments.

    Yeah I kissed her, and it was amazing. I kissed her this morning to. Bette replies.

    You spend the night? Dana is shocked.

    No, you idiot, she called this morning asking me down to the Planet for breakfast and then she gave me a ride here. Bette replies and looks down.

    I think Im falling for her, I get this feeling in my stomach whenever I think of her. And its scaring me. Bette says and looks at Dana.

    You shouldnt be scared Bette, what is it that you are scared of? Dana asks in a caring voice.

    The being out thing for starters, and how my family will take it. Bette replies.

      And I have a special weakness for the sweet and delicate beginning of Bette & Tina’s relationship. Great work.
