    To Love

                Helena it must be said was not given enough credit for her intervention.  It was clear to everyone present that evening as well as to the two who held hands that they had just reunited.  All the details had not yet been worked out there was no doubt that they would be however. 

     

                “Fuck.” Tina whispered as desire so intense she could not move claimed her body and soul. 

     

                Bette looked down at the blonde who was pressed to her side and clung to her shoulder as if for dear life and smiled.  She wrapped her arm around Tina’s waist to give her the support she seemed to need to continue standing. 

     

                When her heart rate slowed to a reasonable pace Tina looked up and met the eyes of her woman.  The look she gave her made Bette pause. Tina looked at her with raw desire and told her without words that she would hold nothing back.  Not only would she hold nothing back she would give herself freely.  It was the kind of desire that could only be expressed with complete trust. 

     

                They had made love to ease ‘the ache’ created by the hormones of Bette’s pregnancy.  They had yet to make love to consummate the step they had taken this evening.  There were no strings before as Tina had said.  At least that was what they told themselves each woman understood that there is no such thing.  Still it allowed them to come together yet hold back at the same time.  They were free to hide their feelings under the cover of loving support.  There was no longer any place to hide.

     

                Bette was pleased beyond words and the smoldering look in her eyes told Tina that she would be consumed in the fire.  Bette kissed her then very gently. Letting her tongue flicker for a moment across Tina’s lips. She licked her own in anticipation. 

     

                “We will pick this up later.” Bette said reluctantly. “What are all these people doing here?”

     

                Tina chuckled “I seem to recall you deciding to have a pool party.” 

     

                “This was my idea?” Bette asked incredulously.

    8. honda90 is right I am so glad Bette had Ro she was there for the season and reason so Bette could be guided back to her lifetime with Tina. Most people think you meet people randomly, but I have always had a strong belief that we meet the people we are ment to at certain stages of our lives so that we make the decisions that make us the people we are ment to be. I often think I should have done such and such when I was younger, but then I would not have the beautiful daughter and many friends that mean the world to me that I have now. This was a beautiful chapter pps.

    10. Kelika, this chapter was wonderful and I am so happy they have decided to become one again. Bless Helena’s heart she did take her life in her hands and she knew it going in that she would incur the wrath of our raven-haired beauty but she was very very brave and foolish but took the chance seeing that was the only thing that would move them off high center. So happy she took action. Knowing Bette after she gets off her high horse she will eventually thank Helena for taking the action. Thanks for a wonderful chapter and getting “our girls” back together. PPS

    11. I know that you will let us have a few chapters for them getting back together in the only way that these two know so well how to do, an NC-17 please, giving birth and a new commitment ceremony with both children and extended family before you end it. Pretty Please, with cherries on top.
