Later that evening Bette looked in her full-length mirror..casual but *****, at least she hoped so. Black long-sleeve shirt with Old Navy jeans, with her hair straightened for the night, loose. Bette dabbed on some light mascara..yes..she was ready. Her intercom buzzed, Bette said she was coming down. She went down the stairs giddy with excitement, this was so cool…she had never felt so alive for such a long time. Things actually looked like like they were heading to a good direction. Her depression was gone, at least for this night…it had been coming for a month now. Bette was tempted to take anti-depressents but decided not too. She wanted to think positive, eat healthy and date Tina. Haha, a good recipe. Bette opened the main door and found Tina talking on her cellphone, she looked stunning. They had guessed correctly, ***** casual. Tina had waved her hair a little bit, dressed in a blue blouse and black..really nice black pants. Tina glanced at Bette….and her gaze stayed there..then she realized the person on her cellphone was sqawking “hello hello!” Bette felt herself blush, she couldn’t look away from her date either. She waited beside her while Tina quickly got off the phone. “Well…let’s go then….”  Bette nodded, they started walking to Tina’s car. It felt so uncomfortable, Bette felt like the her giddy feeling gave way to mortification. Was she *****? Well she didn’t want to ***** other women, she wasn’t attracted to no one except Tina, i mean certain men made her heart flutter briefly, but she hardly thought about that. And here she was ona  date with a woman…pshh don’t think so much about it Bette!

 Before getting to the car Bette stopped Tina. She couldn’t stand it anymore, they had hardly talked to each other. She was almost afraid to accidently brush Tina’s side with her own. Tina stopped as Bette stopped, looking at her, almost knowing why. “Ok..this is fucked…i mean, c’mon, we are so ginger! acting gingerly i mean…Tina? I’m a really mean person sometimes, especially when work is stressful, im selfish, i eat saurkraut which is just wrong…i get really territorial, i can’t stand change, i’m bossy, a *****…don’t realize values till i lose things…emotionally neglectuful..sometimes. if we are gonna be together know that”  Tina grinned..”Well then, to add to that…i’m an ***** when im tired, i can’t to fight so i take my anger out by ignoring, im not territorial…except for the…bed….i need my space, i smoke pot sometimes, i write and when im writing i cannot be bothered..***** will follow if that happens..umm…i probably missed a couple-thousand, the point is i guess, take it or leave it…i take you and i know you take me..so let’s…let’s tell each other right away when we’re being ***** or if something bothers one of us, if we fight…we’ll that’s gonna happaen..and dammit, it’s alright to touch, we did a lot more”  Bette guffawed at that, it was like a huge weight taken off. On both of them. They walked to the car with Tina’s hand holding Bettes’, and she didn’t feel shame..even when that couple walked past them with disapproving looks on their faces.
