“Fine then I’ll take… you know… the chef”
“You don’t even know his name!” Bette laughed.
“I do, Jim”
“Bill” Bette corrected.
“That’s what I said.”
“Sure you did, hi as long as you leave Alfred alone…”
“This conversation is becoming a little… disturbing.”
“I know what you mean, ok, I’m home. You can stop amusing me.” Bette smiled.
“Oh will Bertha amuse you now?” Tina teased.
“Naaa, I have two hours I think I’ll take a ride on the bike. Drive up the coast.”
“No, wait for me!” Tina grumbled.
“Ok… so I’ll just have a swim and a shower.”
“No, I want to be there when you swim” Tina whined.
“Well… what can I do?” Bette smiled, “Besides Bertha.”
“Oh, shut up!” Tina laughed, “You can do what ever you want… as long as it’s not fun.”
“You want me to get bored until you get home?” Bette laughed.
“No, just… don’t have fun without me.” Tina sheepishly said.
“Oh, now that’s understandable.” Bette laughed. “Well babe, I’m sorry, but I’m taking the bike.”
“Fine” Tina sighed.
“I could pick you up if you want? In two hours, leave your car there, I’ll give you a ride to work tomorrow?”
Tina smiled, “Yes, sure… that’s yeah!! Ok!” Tina excitedly said.
Bette laughed, “Great, call me when you want me.” Bette said hanging up. Her phone rang. “Hello?”
“I want you…” came Tina seductive voice.
Bette laughed, “To come, when you want me to come.”
“I love it when you come…”
“To your office Tee! Now who’s the horn dog.”
“Well be more specific!” Tina admonished.
“Love you babe.” Bette smiled.
“I love you too.” Tina whispered, hearing Bette say it always gave her butterflies.
Bette was driving, feeling the wind when she got to Alice’s apartment. She went upstairs. She knocked on the door.
“Since when are you going to work with jeans?” Alice said as Bette walked in.
“I’m done for today. Took a ride.”

I love Bette’s dry humor, and the banter between B&T. Great story!!!BTW, I am glad that Bette threw Candice out, whew. I hope that Bette and Tina’s relationship continues to grow and thrive, and hopefully, Tina’s mom will grow up and leave Tina alone.
I was just thinking that it was probably time for Candace to show up. I am glad that Bette kicked her out and I hope that she was very embrassed. It’s great that Tina is starting to develop other heathy freiendships besides Bette. PPS :o).
