    “Yeah!” Bette agreed, “And even swap!”

     

    “We could, couldn’t we?” Alice nodded.

     

    “God please stop” Dana groaned.

     

    “Which one you want first? Bette or Tina?” Alice asked

     

    “Don’t worry I won’t be offended if you choose Tina” Bette assured.

     

    “La la la I can’t hear you” Dana said burying her head in the pillow.

     

    Bette and Alice laughed, “Seriously, we can double date it will be fun!” Alice said.

     

    “Sure,” Bette smiled, “Now the reason I came here. Besides grilling your girlfriend, did you get my message?”

     

    “500 toffee cakes are on their way.” Alice smiled.

     

    “Tomorrow is going to be fun, I can feel it.” Bette said.

     

     

     

     

    Bette sat with them talking when her phone rang, “Bette’s taxi how may I help you?”

     

    “I need a ride.” Tina smiled.

     

    “Sorry, we’re busy right now… can I recommend another company?”

     

    “I really like this one… and I’m a great tipper…” Tina seductively said.

     

    “Mmm I guess I can cancel my plans for you… if you really want to ride me. I mean with me.” Bette smiled.

     

    “I’ll appreciate it.” Tina smiled.

     

    “Dana says she had fun today, and that she played nicely” Bette sweetly said.

     

    “Shut up!” Tina heard Dana’s voice.

     

    “Bette are you grilling Dana?”

     

    “No! Of course not, Dane, tell her I’m not grilling you!” Bette said.

     

    “Why would I lie? Owww! Bette stop it! Fine she’s not grilling me! Get off!”  Tina heard Dana.

     

    She laughed, “When are you picking me up?”

     

    “The moment Dana will stop grabbing my ass I’m out of here.” Bette smiled.

     

    “Oh get over yourself!” Tina heard Dana shout. “God I feel sorry for Tina.”

     

    “I know child.” Alice said in her ‘god voice.’

     

    “Argggggggg!” Dana groaned.

     

    “You and Alice spend too much time together.” Tina laughed.

     

    “I know…” Bette sighed, “Well I’m on my way babe, you want to wait for me outside?”

     

    “No, come in and get me.”

     

    “You don’t want to stand on the street waiting for me? Showing some leg?”

     

    “I think I’ll wait inside.”

     

    “I’ll honk and you’ll come out.” Bette smiled.

     

    “You’ll come in and get me Bette!” Tina admonished “I expect you to treat me like a lady!”

     

    “You already gave me the milk Tee, I don’t have to work for the cow…”

     

    “Did you just call her a cow?” Dana said.

     

    “No! I didn’t mean she’s a cow it was a metaphor, it means we had sex so I don’t have to be nice anymore.”

     

    “That’s sooo much better” Dana rolled her eyes.

     

    “She knows I’m kidding. Stop meddling and go put some chocolate on your body for Alice to lick you pervert!”

     

    “Yes! Listen to her!” Alice said.

     

    “Anyway, I’m on my way, and I’ll pick you up, ok?” Bette told Tina.

     

    “Sure, call me and I’ll come out.”

     

    “No, no, now you’ve hurt my feelings, I’ll come and get you.” 

     

    “You really don’t have to…”

     

    “Yeah, yeah, I know this ‘not have to’ if I won’t I’ll sleep on the water bed tonight.” Bette dryly said, “Be there in five.”

    8. I love Bette’s dry humor, and the banter between B&T. Great story!!!BTW, I am glad that Bette threw Candice out, whew. I hope that Bette and Tina’s relationship continues to grow and thrive, and hopefully, Tina’s mom will grow up and leave Tina alone.

    9. I was just thinking that it was probably time for Candace to show up. I am glad that Bette kicked her out and I hope that she was very embrassed. It’s great that Tina is starting to develop other heathy freiendships besides Bette. PPS :o).
