    Bette has a lot on her mind


     

    Bette: I’ve been sitting outside the hotel for a few minutes and I’m just…thoroughly speechless.

     

    When I first met Tina she completely drew me in; physically she was gorgeous one look and I was instantly captivated but there was more to it. It was her eyes…Eric had come over to talk to me but all I could concentrate on was Tina, who the jackass forgot to introduce to me in the first place. She initially looked pretty annoyed with the fact that her boyfriend seemed to forget that she was there (I have to admit she looked pretty sexy when she was mad, and on the plus side the relationship didn’t look like it was going to last much longer.), she would give me fleeting looks, I on the other hand could not take my eyes off of her.

     

    I mean I was seriously loosing all sense of propriety, whenever we’d look into each others eyes I slowly start to feel my inhibitions ebb away, and I could tell she was feeling something too because it looked like she couldn’t take her eyes off me either. Then she gave me a little smile and rolled her eyes in the direction of Eric, and I couldn’t help but let out a little laugh. Which caught Eric’s attention because next thing I knew he was introducing me to my angel (I say ‘my angel’ because even though she was with him and we had just met I knew she was someone special…in all my life I’ve never felt such an intense yearning to be around someone.) she put her hand up to shake mine and that was it. Looking into her eyes and feeling her hand in mine was all it took and I just knew I was meant to be in her life forever.

     

    I felt like our lives were tied together all those years ago and for a second I lost sight of that feeling and lost Tina as a result, but now I’ve been given a second chance of sorts. A chance to be a part of Eli’s life, I don’t know how it’ll work out with him living in New York but if I’ve learned anything from my mistakes it’s that I shouldn’t second guess my heart. All those years ago it told me to make a life with Tina and all these years later it’s telling me to try to do the same with Eli.

    1. I took a chance and checked one last time before leaving work, and yeah you had posted. Cannot believe you have just left me hanging again. I’m so excited, and can’t wait till that first hello. It gives me goose bumps thinking about it, wait till the gang meets Eli. Hopefully you’ll have posted again when I come in to work.

    12. I very much appreciate you taking the time to post this chapter. But you have to tell your instructor that you can not do the project because you have this other project to do first. I am really loving this story and now I will have a heart attack because the wait will seem like forever. My heart is pounding just waiting to see how Bette is going to react to Tina’s voice. I know that you can not post too soon but really try please.

    13. You can’t finish the project on time, that you have hundreds of fans waiting to see what happens in this story. Give Him the story and you will be forgiven for being late. I love this child so honest,and smart and loves his mom so much. The sad part is he will love Bette just as much.and she him. Hope that Tina will let Eli spend a lot of time with Bette. thanks
