    B&T 9 years after season 1: Bette and Tina have a lot on their minds.

     

    Bette: "Sort of, I mean he will be a man in a couple of years."

     

    Shane: "Bette there’s a lot of things going through my head right now so I’m just going to drink some more of this beer and let you explain."

     

    Bette: "O.k. um I met a boy named Eli today and um…" Bette sighed because even though she knew the facts of what happened today she still hadn’t sorted everything out. "O.k. let me start again…I met Eli Kennard today, Tina’s son."

     

    Shane: "Tina’s son…um wow…Tina’s back in L.A. and she had son. That’s a lot to take in. I have a lot of questions but based on that look on your face I’m guessing that something’s up, tell me?"

     

    Bette: "Yes Tina had a son and his name is Eli. He’s a little over eight years old, has beautiful blue eyes, dark blond hair, he’s a little tall but since I don’t know any kids his age I’m not sure if that’s how tall he’s supposed to be, he has Tina’s smile and her demeanor. He’s very charming Shane, Kit can attest to that, but he’s also sweet and polite, and direct I mean you should have seen how he handled our situation…oh and don’t get me started on how smart he is…he’s just perfect."

     

    Shane: "He sounds great, but then again he has a great mom so I get how he can be such an awesome kid but that doesn’t explain the face you were wearing just a minute ago. What’s up Bette?"

     

    Bette: "Tina doesn’t know that Eli came to see me, in fact Tina’s not even in L.A. she’s still in New York. Eli came to California with his best friend and her family for a vacation and he tracked me down and got me to agree to met him for breakfast tomorrow so we can talk some more."

     

    Shane: "Wow he really did all that on his own, I can’t wait to meet him myself. But Bette you know you have to talk to Tina, I mean if you guys keep this from her it’ll only make things worse."

     

    Bette: "I know Shane and if I had any way of contacting her I probably would have done it already, but then another part of me wants to spend as much time with Eli as possible. I know I’ve just met him Shane but I already feel so connected to him…I’m not ready to let that go."

    1. I took a chance and checked one last time before leaving work, and yeah you had posted. Cannot believe you have just left me hanging again. I’m so excited, and can’t wait till that first hello. It gives me goose bumps thinking about it, wait till the gang meets Eli. Hopefully you’ll have posted again when I come in to work.

    4. SWEET……now the next chapter is gonna be filled with lots of anxiety, so maybe in the chapter after that we’ll get some where…..i hope. POST SOON!!!!

    12. I very much appreciate you taking the time to post this chapter. But you have to tell your instructor that you can not do the project because you have this other project to do first. I am really loving this story and now I will have a heart attack because the wait will seem like forever. My heart is pounding just waiting to see how Bette is going to react to Tina’s voice. I know that you can not post too soon but really try please.

    13. You can’t finish the project on time, that you have hundreds of fans waiting to see what happens in this story. Give Him the story and you will be forgiven for being late. I love this child so honest,and smart and loves his mom so much. The sad part is he will love Bette just as much.and she him. Hope that Tina will let Eli spend a lot of time with Bette. thanks
