    Chapter 1:

    Previously…

    4am at Dana’s door:

     

    Alice: You can’t marry Tonya…

     

    Dana: What are you talking about? Why?

     

    Alice: Because…

     

    Dana: Because why?

     

    Alice: Because…

     

    With no words left to explain herself, Alice leans in and kisses Dana aggressively, then pulls away, looking down at the floor, ashamed. They stand in silence for a second, both astonished at Alice’s forward behaviour and then Dana recaptures Alice’s lips and pulls her in closer, in to a fervent and heated kiss.

     

    Alice: (sighing) Fuck… Oh God, I have to go… I’ve gotta go…

     

    She runs off, leaving Dana stood on her doorstep, cold and confused.

     

      The Morning After The Night Before:

    Dana, Tonya, Shane and Jenny are all sat in The Planet enjoying their regular early morning, pre-work catch up.

    Shane: Hey it’s 9.15, where are Bette and Tina… and Alice for that matter…?

    At the mention of Alice’s name, Dana shifts in her seat uncomfortably; Tonya notices and says “Hey, sweetie are you ok? Still feeling tired?”

    “Long night was it?” replies Shane with a knowing wink and a cheeky grin.

    Dana: Shut up Shane… I didn’t sleep well last night, and no, for your information it wasn’t due to other nocturnal activities so get your mind out of the gutter…

    Shane: (shrugs) Sorry Dane, I was just teasing…

    “Alice is probably still in bed,” Tonya informs the group, “she came to visit late last night, Dana says she was quite upset… isn’t that right hun?”

    Dana: Umm… yeah but it wasn’t a big deal,  I mean I don’t think she wants us to make a big deal out of it, so just forget it ok?

    Tonya looks at Dana dejectedly but then masters a big, fake smile and turns to Shane, “Bette and Tina are probably still in bed too… celebrating after the success of the gallery opening last night! It was quite a show really…”

    The girls begin to involve themselves in their interpretations and opinions of the Provocations exhibition, when Alice walks in; she scans the room and notices Dana and the others sat at their usual table, but instead of joining them, she turns to the counter; pretending that she hadn’t noticed her group of friends..

    1. I like this story, I hope they fix them in season 4…can you believe it…season 4 and those issues are no where near solved. I hope they bring Dana back and make it all a dream. A girl can wish right?
