    A Matter of Time – 3

After the stretching, Bette was so hot and her panties so soaked she didn’t know if she’d be able to run anymore. She took a deep breath, turned to Tina and again, gave her the infamous Porter smile.

“Come on, ladies!” they heard a voice calling out to them. They turned around and both rolled their eyes, not knowing the woman beside them was doing the same. It was dickhead Christopher having run his first round, clearly eager to impress the two ‘ladies’.

“I hate to listen to him, but he is right. We should start now,” Bette said. “Al told me you can’t run two minutes, that’s no problem. We’re going to try it anyway, but if you really feel like you can’t do it, just start walking. Don’t feel ashamed about other runners – most of them have been where you are now. Also don’t feel ashamed about me, I have had people who lasted ten seconds.”

Tina smiled and Bette almost melted at the spot – it was a gorgeous smile that warmed her heart. The brunette told herself to keep looking into those eyes, only those eyes, forget about the cleavage, there is no cleavage – except there was. And what a cleavage it was! Bette turned around and walked to the start of the running track.

She looked at Tina. “You ready?”

Tina nodded, her lips pressed together tightly. Bette pressed the button on her watch and started a slow run, waiting for Tina to indicate the pace.

Tina started off and almost immediately Bette had to slow her down. “Not so fast – you’ll be out of breath before we turn the next corner.”

Tina blushed and looked away. She felt embarrassed for already having made a mistake. It was at times like these she couldn’t stand herself. “I’m sorry,” she said.

“It’s okay – but you don’t have to apologize. Better save your breath for something else.”

Like having a private work-out session with me.

After a minute, she stops and takes a huge gulp of air. When she’s recovered a bit, still panting slightly, she apologizes again.

“Tina, I don’t want you to apologize. Tell me, are you familiar with the right breathing technique?”

    “Is there a special one?”
