    Tina’s “words”

    Tina looks in Bette’s eyes with the box in her hands, she smiles at Bette with a face full of love. Bette puts her hand out and wipes Tina’s tears from her face with her thumb, she smiles shyish to Tina.

    “Baby, this is lovely, this is the nicest and most romantic thing you have ever done to me. If there was any doubt in me left, it would disappear now. I love you Bette, I really do.”

    Tina spoke the words with a soft and loving voice, as she looked at Bette with her eyes full of love.

    “T. I know you do, and I know that I will always love you, for the rest of our lives. You mean so much to me, T. I will do my very best to be open to you and to tell you how I feel.”

    “Me too baby, I promise you that. I have been so stupid, not just ones but many times. First when I lost our baby boy and gave you the feeling that you needed to protect me. That is something, I never meant to do, I didn’t realize it. If I had known that you were trying to carry all the pain and sorrow on your shoulders I would have stopped you before it was too late. Maybe we wouldn’t have ended up in the mess, we both created. And then the fact that I hit the papers from you. The thing I did by pretending to rip the papers in front of your eyes was a very low act, and I have cried so many nights at Angelica’s bed, not knowing how to make it right. The moment I heard that you were coming to the wedding, I have thought about it every day. I know, I should have told you sooner and not at the last minute before you went on the plane but I was so scared of your reaction. I was so happy that we spent a nice time together, I didn’t want that to end. It was not fair what I did, I know that Bette, I know I have been so wrong. I should never have done that, I took your little Angel away from you. You have missed a part of her life, you missed her first birthday and her first steps, I will never forgive myself for that.”

    5. OMG! Not only do I need a cold shower but a cold drink and the fan blowing on me to stop the heat stroke that I am having. This chapter brought some closure of the past mistakes and the physical reconnection of two lost souls. Glad that you are enjoying your sister’s company and I can not wait until your next chapter.
