    Chapter 20

    They walked hand in hand back to Bette’s apartment  and when they got there Tina turned to Bette and  gave her another kiss.

     

    “Thanks for my gift Bette I really do love them”

     

     

    “You’re welcome; you never let me buy you anything so I took advantage of the special occasion”

     

     

    “Well you know great minds think alike” Tina smiled

     

    “What are you talking about weirdo” Bette teased

     

     

    “I bought you something too”

     

     

    “What? T, are you serious, you being here is enough for me”

     

     

    “I know but I wanted to get you something special for tonight I know how important it is you” Tina hugged Bette

     

     

     

    “Let me go get it be right back”

     

     

    Bette walked to the kitchen and reached for a bottle of wine.

     

     

     

    Tina came back and handed Bette a blue “Tiffany and Co” bag

     

     

    “Come on open it”

     

     

    Bette took out two boxes she opened the first Bette hand gave over to cover her mouth as she let out a gasp, it was a beautiful Diamond Tennis Bracelet it was beautiful Bette guessed it to be at least 2 karats.

     

     

    “Come on Bette open the next one”

     

    Bette didn’t move so Tina reached into the bag and gave her the other box.

     

     

    Bette was speechless as she opened the other smaller box, it was a pair of Diamond studs.

     

     

    “Tina I can’t take this” Bette said

     

     

    “Why don’t you like them?”  Tina sounded sad

     

     

    “No, T it’s not that I love them they are beautiful”

     

     

    “It’s too expensive T, you’re a student you shouldn’t be spending your money on me.”

     

     

    “Bette you forget I have plenty to spend please let me do this for you I really want you to have them, I want you to wear them tonight”

     

     

    “Thank you T, they’re lovely”

     

     

    “Come on T lets watch a movie and relax until we have to start getting ready”

     

    “Oh, can I pick the movie” Tina clapped

    “I guess, as long as we don’t watch the Notebook again”

     

     

     

    “But Bette, it’s such a good movie”

     

     

     

    “T, we’ve watched like a hundred times already”

     

     

     

    “Fine, you pick then”

     

     

    Tina pouted and sat down on the couch, Bette smiled seeing Tina pout always made Bette smile, Bette walked over and kneeled in between Tina’s legs, she ran her hands up Tina’s thighs as she looked into Tina’s hazel eyes.

     

    “I know of something more interesting that we could do that we would both enjoy”

     

    Bette said as she started unbuttoning Tina’s pants. Tina reached and placed her hands into Bette’s hair and pulled Bette closer for a deep kiss.

     

     

    “This is exactly why I let you pick the movie” Tina winked

     

     

    “You’re so naughty T” Bette smiled

    8. Hey iluvmuzic, Bette and Tina are just so perfect together. It was so touching that Bette was prepared to let Tina go if it meant that Tina was happy. This self-sacrifice shows just how much Bette loves Tina.Their gentle teasing was sweet and innocent.It was pleasing to have Bette share her potential new job in LA and the difficulties this might bring. This really shows how well they are communicating. Tina has to know how serious Bette is about giving this relationship the best chances or surviving all eventualities.Comic relief was present when Alice and Dana added their two-cents about Bette and Tina’s relationship. Just adorable to have Bette be grumpy while Tee is away and then all soft and cuddlely when she is around.Then the visit to the jewelers was warm and fuzzy. Tina’s jealousy was cute. She was really riled with Bette and Julia’s familiarity.Bette’s gift was stunning and melted Tina’s heart instantly.
