    Chapter 20

     

     

    “Julia”

     

     

    “Bette! Darling how have you’ve been what a surprise” The

    Beautiful woman who looked to be in her early thirties and spoke with what sounded to Tina like and Italian accent approached Bette and proceeded to hug and kiss her on either cheek.

     

     

    Tina pretended not to notice the exchange, as she browsed one of the display cases.

     

     

     

    “I’m here to pick up the pieces you made for me”

     

     

    “Let me guess, that pretty young thing over there pretending not be jealous is your Tina”

     

     

    “Yeah, that’s my T, she’s cute when she’s jealous isn’t she?” Bette laughed

     

     

    Tina was hearing the giggles coming from the two and was starting to get visibly bothered.

     

    “I think I should let her in our secret before I get into trouble” Bette giggled again

     

     

    Julia winked and smiled

     

     

    “Tina, come here I want you to meet a friend of mine”

     

     

    Tina took a deep breath and walked over, she put on her best fake smile.

     

     

    Bette almost burst out laughing, seeing Tina pretend to smile.

     

     

    “Tina I would like you to meet a friend of mine Julia, Demorro, Julia this is my girlfriend Tina, Kennard”

     

    They shook hands

     

    “Nice to meet you Ms. Demorro” Tina said in her most polite sounding voice.

     

    “Please call me Julia, and I will call you Tina, the pleasure is all mine, your very beautiful Tina, now I know why our Bette here is always smiling when she talks about you”

     

    ‘Thank you’ Bette silently thanked Julia, knowing Julia wanted to make the blonde feel better.

     

    ‘Our Bette… No my Bette’ Tina thought to herself

     

     

    “Now if you will excuse me I will go get your pieces Bette”

     

     

    Tina crossed her arms across her chest and stood there silently. Bette pretended to look at something in the display case and without looking at Tina said

     

     

    “You’re so cute when you’re jealous”

     

     

    “I’m not jealous” Tina replied arms still crossed

     

     

    Tina turned started looking at another display case. ‘Jealous huh just because Julia is beautiful older and sophisticated why should I be jealous’ Tina thought to herself, feeling the heat starting to rise to her cheeks.

    8. Hey iluvmuzic, Bette and Tina are just so perfect together. It was so touching that Bette was prepared to let Tina go if it meant that Tina was happy. This self-sacrifice shows just how much Bette loves Tina.Their gentle teasing was sweet and innocent.It was pleasing to have Bette share her potential new job in LA and the difficulties this might bring. This really shows how well they are communicating. Tina has to know how serious Bette is about giving this relationship the best chances or surviving all eventualities.Comic relief was present when Alice and Dana added their two-cents about Bette and Tina’s relationship. Just adorable to have Bette be grumpy while Tee is away and then all soft and cuddlely when she is around.Then the visit to the jewelers was warm and fuzzy. Tina’s jealousy was cute. She was really riled with Bette and Julia’s familiarity.Bette’s gift was stunning and melted Tina’s heart instantly. Then Tina topped Bette with her gift.I ust can’t wait for the next chapter to read about their night; dresses, jewels and confrontations.Please continue soon. Much appreciation from Your Loyal Fan.
