”Oh my God Bette. You just don’t know how much I want to kiss you right now” Alice said as her voice cracked.
”Uhmm? Thats ok Al.. A hug will do” Bette says as Alice grabbed her in a hug then pulled away.
”Thank you Bette” Alice said gratefully
”You’re welcome and one more thing Alice” Bette added as Alice nodded ”This is the last time I’m riding in that car from hell because you are taking me to the dealership after I finish up with Dr. Kennard”
Alice gasped
”Bette? You better be nice to Myrtle because if she senses you are angry with her or you dislike her she’ll stall out again like she did on the interstate. I told you not to make fun of her muffler”
”Alice? That damn bucket of bolts doesn’t even have a muffler. I couldn’t even hear you over the roar that death trap was making and that’s saying a lot knowing how loud your voice is now let’s get back in there since we’ve taken up enough of Dr. Kennard’s time already” Bette scolded as the two walked back inside and took their seats by Tina.
”Sorry Dr. Kennard” Bette apologized as she pulled out her sketch book
”Please call me Tina. And it’s alright” Tina assured as she smiled warmly at Bette then looked back down at the booklet in front of her. Alice sat there quietly taking in the interaction between the two and smirked.
Bette continued smiling and taking in the beauty of the woman sitting next to her but quickly shook out of her thoughts to focus.
”Ok. So Tina? It sounds like you have been planning this research facility in your mind for a long time. So do you have any sketches or ideas that you could show me?” Bette asked feeling slightly nervous and wasn’t sure why when she has done this many times before.
”Well I do but they are at home. I actually have several designs I was working on but I’m not sure what would be the best layout for the property I have acquired”
”Is it possible I could see the property and survey it” Bette asked as Tina locked eyes with hers
”Well Ms. Porter I-” Tina began but Bette quickly interrupted.

Welcome back!! Glad to see your update. I love Peggy Peabody. I hope Dr Tina can work a miracle and create the Peggy Peabody Oncology Center with Peggy cutting the ribbon. Alice and the demon car is too much. She can drive Bette to distraction. Actually I think the sweet Dr Kennard will be willing to take all of Bette’s attention. PPS

Love this update and Alice isn’t that crazy, all my cars had names too. The car I have right now is called: the Pope. So I can relate………only my car doesn’t push it that far……….I like the humor and I can’t wait for your next update. Great job.
