    ”I know that dear. And thank you” Peggy said as the dogs started barking happily in unison causing both Peggy and Tina to laugh.

    ”Turn right here Al?” Bette said loudly as Alice passed up the turn.

    ”Alice!” Bette screamed causing Alice to finally look over at her. ”You missed the turn!”

    ”Sorry! I didn’t hear you!” Alice screamed back over the roar the car was making and made a u-turn in the middle of the road to head back the other way. As she turned on the blinker to turn into the dealership the car suddenly died and coasted to a stop in the turn lane. Alice tried talking to the car to start but it wouldn’t after several tries.

    ”Fucking great Alice!. This piece of shit can’t even get us into the parking lot of the dealership” Bette screamed and slapped the dashboard.

    ”Bette please don’t put your hands on Myrtle. She doesn’t like you and she doesn’t want to go into that parking lot. There is nothing wrong with her except she hates you” Alice said calmly as she rubbed the steering wheel ”I’m sorry baby. We will be rid of this mean ole woman soon and you won’t have to deal with her again ok”

    Bette shook her head in disbelief as Alice laid her head on the steering wheel.

    ”Alice will you listen to yourself. You sound like a crazy person talking about this car like its a human. And you look ridiculous doing it. This isn’t Hollywood Alice. This is a car. A fucking car.”

    Just then the visor in front of Bette flew down and hit her in the face.

    ”Ouch!! Damn it” Bette screamed and rubbed her nose and cheek.

    Alice lifted her head up from the steering wheel and smiled.

    ”See Bette. I told you not to make fun of my baby. Myrtle is not playing with you. If you can’t respect her then you don’t need to ride with me anymore”

    ”Don’t worry. I won’t” Bette answered grabbing her purse and tried opening the door but it wouldn’t.

    ”Jesus Christ. The door won’t even open now. Shit!” Bette yelled in frustration

    ”Bette?” Alice called out softly

    ”What!” Bette answered angrily

    ”Apologize and Myrtle will let you out”

    1. Welcome back!! Glad to see your update. I love Peggy Peabody. I hope Dr Tina can work a miracle and create the Peggy Peabody Oncology Center with Peggy cutting the ribbon. Alice and the demon car is too much. She can drive Bette to distraction. Actually I think the sweet Dr Kennard will be willing to take all of Bette’s attention. PPS
